At this point I can make it out, found some friends to come with so my parents won't freak out like last time. So all is well at the moment.

THAT IS NOT A MISTAKE, APRIL MONTHLY IS ON SUNDAY

Tournament for SKULLGIRLS starts at 7:30, sign ups will be around 6. Just like usual.

$5 entry.

The venue is open all day showcasing multiple games and multiple tournaments, if you are interested in UMVC3, SSF4, GG, or anything else please let me know and I will let you know when other games start. The venue usually opens around noon though, so if you want to get there bright and early to play various games go ahead!

Also another thing to address is that you have to pay a $10 venue fee as well.

So $10 venue + $5 for SG + any other game you want to enter

But sunday is the perfect day to pray to Debrah for good connections for the rest of the week. Joking aside, I currently don't see a problem with myself attending.
 
SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY works for me because I don't work on those.

I could play maybe another game too.

That's the same day as my sister's wedding; don't think she'd like it if I told her I was ducking out earlier to go and play a game where girls beat each other up while their boobs bounce all around.

Yeah, I'm fine, thanks for the concern, guys. Even though I got t-boned on my driver's side by an elderly woman who failed to stop at an intersection going probably around 40, amazingly no one was harmed.

I have a local friend that kinda plays BB and SG but I've tried to get him to come with me before and he doesn't seem that interested. I'll probably ask him anyways, so who knows.
 
So I got a new car but now I have the flu. FML. I'll make it to another one of these some day.
 
I definitely want to make it out to these, just gotta work out transportation.

If anyone is driving by the Gaithersburg area and doesn't mind carpooling, I'd be happy to split gas costs.

While the baes' are away, the runners-up shall play!

Mr. Inblack and Winston Wins-a-ton will be in Chicago for UFGT's swan song. But, this Saturday, Xan is hosting their cookout monthly.

Doors officially open at, like, 2pm or something. I don't know for sure. I've never been there that early. Plenty of SF4, UMvC3, KoF, Blaz, Guilty, etc. will there as well.

All's the same, except the door fee which I believe is $20 to cover the cost of feeding this army of off-popping neanderthals.

I want to keep SG mostly the same as when our brightly-colored mascot runs things. $5 entry fee. Double elim bracket. Plenty of casual sex, er, games beforehand.

ATTENTION - Does anyone mind if we hold the tourney at 6pm instead of our usual 7pm? It would make it easier for me to be back home for something that night, but I can make it work if it makes-or-breaks someone's ability to participate in the tournament.

I *should* be able to head down earlier in the day with one setup. If someone can bring a second, things can move a lot quicker, we can get more practice in, and SG can look a little less poverty-stricken.

Working a long, early shift, but I should be there before 5 PM. I can bring my PS3, but don't really have a way to bring a monitor. If someone wants to bring an extra monitor, I'll bring the PS3; just let me know.

I guess the tournament never happened then? I most definitely would have entered if I wasn't juggling between the BlazBlue and Guilty Gear tournaments last night.

Hopefully by next month's tournament I'll have my Filia/Fukua team up to snuff!

Sorry @keninblack, but it looks like I won't be able to make it to this one. Going to a family BBQ/pool party on the 28th.
 
God damn, it's like everyone and their mother planned for stuff on that weekend. Not sure if I can make it.
 
I should finally be able to come to one of these things since I'm on summer break.
