Come out for the swan song of Xanadu Games!
Xanadu shutters its doors at the end of February and they're throwing a going-away party. This is the end of a glorious run. This is the most enduring venue for Skullgirls on the east coast. So come out, pay your respects, and get those SG sets in.
(There may be an announcement regarding the status of the managers' plans at the event, so let's all be optimistic about what the future holds.)
This event is a lock-in! That means doors open around 1:00 PM and the venue will be open until 5:00 AM the following morning. There may be food options on site. I'll try to keep you updated.
Venue fee is $15 at the front desk.
SKULLGIRLS TOURNAMENT RULES
Tournament setups on PS4 (Feel free to bring PC or PS3 setups for casuals.)
Money:
$5 entry fee IN EXACT CHANGE
If double-elimination, I will approximate a 60/30/10 prize split for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place based on the denominations of cash available.
In case of round robin, 2nd place gets their $5 back and 1st place gets the rest.
Start Time:
Sign-ups start at 7:00 PM. Tournament will start at 7:30 PM.
If you are running a little late and want to be in the tourney, I am willing to delay the start time a little. Tweet me @ElkyDori, message me on Facebook, or DM me here on Skullheart (I am least likely to see this one).
Format:
Double Elimination or Round Robin, depending on number of entries
All matches will be 3/5.

Other games at the Xanadu monthly...
Typically featured tournament games at Xanadu include:
Dragon Ball FighterZ
Guilty Gear Xrd
Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite
Tekken 7
The King of Fighters XIV
Street Fighter V
BlazBlue
These games usually have a $10 entry fee.
CvS2, 3rd Strike, and Neo Geo setups are common too. If there's a game you want to play, bring a setup if you can. I've made friends at Xanadu by setting up a fighting game that I didn't really think anyone wanted to play with me.
