Fire Emblem

Weird, excalibur barely works for me honestly. Brave swords and the Royal Blade however, crit amazingly. I think it's weird that the game tries implying classes that aren't that good for the villagers. Tobin is far better as a mage than an archer.
 
I have Tobin as a mage, Grey as an archer, Faye as a cleric, and Kliff as a cavelier. They're all really good. Tobin gets crits like 60% of the time, he's a monstah.
 
Tobin falls off pretty hard as a Mage (though he's really good until the very end of late game). He does more consistent damage as a Cavalier, but he's not very tanky. I made Kliff as a Merc with a Levin Sword and he's hard to hit and still doubles most of the time and hits hard.

Gray does well as literally whatever you want him to be, his growths are that fantastic

Faye can work also a Cavalier with her good defense, but I find she's best as a Cleric cause her healing is insane.

I like the Villager mechanic. Only lacking Villager is Atlas D:

I made Atlas an archer and he's doin pretty swell so far
 
Same. His hit rate as an archer is absolute shit, but when he does hit he hits hard
 
you can just pretend he's a ballastician in that case
 
I'll pick up Echoes eventually, but this years been a bit of a jrpg apocalypse with me still needing to finish Tales of Berseria, Nioh, Trails In The Sky 3rd, and NieR while simultaneously trying to work my way through calculus classes and finish game dev deadlines.

It makes a DAMN fine weapon. The Beloved Zofia.
 
Has anyone gotten to the Delthea map yet? I'm at my wits' end and I just want to kill her, chuck her in the river and be done with it.
 
Alm + Royal Blade subdue to one health plus block her body so she can't run, kill Tatarrah.
 
I managed to get her at one hp by dumb luck and then managed to kill the boss before she ran away myself.
Didn't even know she could run even, what the heck.
 
I made nobody anything, because Echoes is a lazy cash grab.
 
Real talk Delthea's growths have been godlike for me, her only problem is that if the enemies poke her once you'll have to turnwheel back because she won't survive.
P.S fuck witches.

God yeah i hate how they always seem to teleport and gang up on one unit with low resistance all the goddamn time, really glad Mila's turnwheel is here
 
I find myself soft resetting just as much as I always have despite the turnwheel existing now
 
At some point during the fight with Jamil, I decided because I had found the revival fountain on Celica's route, I'd just let Est bite the dust after I lost my turnwheels because I was done dealing with her. Going all the way back to go to some dumb fountain to revive her made Palla's mourning quote seem especially pointless. Now I can't lose anyone ever, and it's all Est's fault.
 
you actually get a revival on Alm's route...2 of them actually. I believe iirc the second one on Alm's route can be used to revive Celica's units (somehow)
 
I meant on Cel's side. I knew Alm had one. Though I didn't know his could revive hers.
 
Est, unlike the other two sisters, dies if anyone sneezes in her general direction.
 
I finished Echoes! (Well almost i died at the bonus boss)
Really a great game, probably my fave out of the 3ds games... Just kinda wishing you could have some supports between Alm and Celica's team
Like idk i wonder how Leon and Python would interact... Or Conrad or Camus I mean the totally unrelated Zeke (A mask uh)
Also boy those witches were annoying as shit


That talk about reviving units remind me Clive died twice on my playthough... Poor him the second time i straight up left him dead because poor man was just near useless.
 
What the game neglects to tell you is that Clive is a joke character

If they put Hector they better keep Patrick Seitz as his va
and give him the distant counter so he can one hit kill anything that tries to hit him from far away.
 
The VAs for the blazing sword characters all feel like they're from a happier simpler time

Was Hyrule Warriors just the worst game ever to you, then?

Because it did the exact same thing.
 
Hyrule Warriors had some out there choices like Ruto and Zant and weird weapons like the beyblade for Link

FE Warriors feels really... whatever? Like the most out there addition so far has been Cordelia and she's still a really obvious pick, there's no real mix up or crazy choices to give the game more flavor

There's not even a single playable Armor Knight revealed yet :(

The director confirmed that Armor Knights are in the game.

So, expect Kellam, Draug, or Effie.
