What are the general rules for getting a combo off of Gregor? Seems like different people have different ways of doing it, does the screen position matter? I've seen people do s.LP s.HP, just s.HP, sometimes c.MK c.HP etc.
I OTG if I haven't burned it and I want the easiest combo possible (e.g. like I'm gonna win the match or something either way). Just dash in and c.lk. It's also much more likely to successfully combo two characters (for example, for a double snap) by OTGing off a gregor than trying to catch two different hurtboxes with an "anti-air" style hit.
If you're saving/don't have OTG hitting them out of the air off the wallbounce with HP is usually optimal, and doing a lighter button chained into HP is a little easier. Against heavies you've hit with a ground gregor (in particular, Double) you will need to do a fairly difficult dash into an LP to follow up. If you're doing the last chain before you run out of undizzy so relaunching with HP would be pointless, you can hit them with a chain into c.HP or HK xx h hairball instead.
As obregon posted.. you *CAN* use up the OTG, and most of those conversions (eg OTG c.LK s.HP, OTG c.MP s.HP) are super easy and work on all of the cast.
However, there are certain scenarios where this is very undesirable .. simply because you already used up your OTG; eg after Throw xx Gregor. Here you need some other way of picking the opponent out of the air, where you time your hit before they land. Timing on this is finicky, depending on height and weight anything of s.HP, s.MP s.HP, s.LP s.HP etc might work out.
