Also, this is the birth of DDB.

- Gotta express how much I love the team and the awesome folk who did this for free. Just the character itself is insane, but the fact that they did a Twin Peaks reference makes me a very happy panda. Just when you think you can't love Lab Zero any more, they do this.

Dude, whoever owns that mirror is gonna be pissed that Filia broke it.
And also that she wasted all their toothpaste.

boss filia likes to tech all throw attempts ever. either this also includes command throws or i screwed up some command inputs (which is possible).

and she's got maybe a bit too much defense. because she is THICK. :PUN:

Well, she IS having a nightmare. Maybe her dream-self is heavier than normal (which would explain the double solo health and default 5 meter bars. :PUN:)
 
So this isn't totally a hint about the future of the game?

And I think her defense is WAAAAAY more than is 2x. Combos that did normally 45%-ish on an equal solo characters do like 10%-15% on Boss Filia.

Also she needs a special color palette to signify her BOSSNESS.

She doesn't tech command throws. I should know. I got to land like 20 on her.

And she still didn't die.

Also, Annie canonically confirmed salt-tier.

Nope.

I really enjoyed the powered up Filia boss. A boss that can be comboed and grabbed is my kind of boss. Also, while it's still possible to defeat her by repeating the same move over and over (alike Marie), winning with her by not being cheap is a very viable option (unlike Marie). Thumbs up for that.

No spoiler tags from me. Anyone jumping into a Fukua story discussion ought to know what he's getting into.

That's what I mean by the last line of the inital post, i'll go change it to be more clear.
 
She's probably the best "fair" final boss in terms of design from what I've seen.

She's tough to take down and being careless will get you killed, you can use the fundamentals of using your character to beat her and there's no final-boss exclusive changes (that I can see) apart from her having ridiculous endurance and infinite meter.
Contrast Marie where you just need to put together a chain that puts her into stun and resets into itself quickly, with optional prayer that she doesn't demolish you at the start of the match.

Of course, she still suffers from AI derpiness, but I hope she gets the Marie 300% treatment and we get to fight her through the Extras menu, but that's probably on the low end of priority.

I don't know which theoretical storyline I like more for Fukua . . . because they're all great:
1. She's an unstable maniac clone of Filia made by Brain Drain because WHY NOT?

2. She's a manifestation of Filia's lost memories of when she was a bitchy rich girl. It's like PERSONA! (the game. not of the guy who drew the cut scenes. that's just a coincidence . . . OR IS IT?!!)

3. Both. Because Brain Drain's a powerful psychic AND a huge jerk.

Or as the story would imply, some weird nightmare.

I think if Umbrella & Annie ever get added, they should all have a unique victory animation as a team with Fukua.
 
... Err ... Guys ... How the heck I can beat Filia Boss? Even at the most easiest difficulty that girl block all my moves, avoid all of my special attacks and do like 40-hit-unstoppable combos.

By the way ... I want Umbrella. I want play Umbrella and her ... Giant multi-eye monster.
 
Fukua ripped filias head off, ate everything inside her head and then put her face on...Samson was crying...

Fukua is the devil...I still love her

I beat her story mode on both normal and nightmare. The final boss was easy both times.
@Ravidrath f u guys at lab zero for making Marie an unfair POS

the reason Filia has no memories of her life is because she is actually Fukua but dosnt know it, Samson makes her wish for her memories back so she would turn back into real Filia, boy oh boy nightmare crest though

Ya know, this doesn't conflict with her previously established "canon" as much if we assume that her powers include Freddy Krueger-esque dream infiltration. Looks like she found a way to get a more stable body after all.

So basically, Fukua is just Filia being controlled by Fukua with different makeup in the real world..
