I've had skullgirls for some time now and i really enjoyed the game.
One day i format my pc and change my os from windows VISTA to windows 7. Now Skullgirls refuses to work.
Whenever i open it, the game will open a window of the game but it will stop responding almost instantly,i do not even get to see a loading screen or, hell, a black screen to begin with. The window itself is transparent it seems.
Things i've tried already:
Uninstalling and reinstalling several times
Verifying integrity of game cache
reinstalling directx 9 just to be sure
Checking if all of my drivers are updated(suprise suprise, they are)
Tried running it in compatibility mode, as an administrator, in offline mode on steam
Tried changing and messed with the launch options to no avail
Saw a few threads talking about deleting a VIDEOSETTINGS.BIN file in the skullgirls document folder but, thing is, i have NO skullgirls folder on my documents. Probably because i never got to a loading screen to begin and thus the folder wasn't even created. I searched my entire hard drive for a VIDEOSETTINGS.BIN file just to make sure but nothing related to skullgirls turned up(only some portal 2 stuff)
As you can see, i've tried pretty much everything the threads i've read have told plus some of my own ideas so if anyone could possibly help, it'd be incredibly appreciated.
Thanks!
