Don't know the names of moves
happens when ever i have meter regardless if i want short or far command grab
guess i should pay attention to my inputs in training mode but do i really have to be that precise?

what i usually do is if i want short grab i just roll the stick from back to forward or a half circle forward and a half circle back if i want far grab
this works great if i have no meter be as soon as i do it automatically gets me super grab

yeah
any advice?

You may be hitting up by mistake. For, I get super by mistake mostly after blocking, inputting diamond drop and accidentally pressing up. For some reason, I do a little flourish with my hands after putting in command grabs I know will hit, so that's something I personally need to fix.

What controller are you using?

Have you played grapplers in other games, such as Street Fighter, or King of Fighters maybe? If so, spend time in practice making sure you can do the far/close throws. Make sure to wait a few seconds inbetween each throw to give some room for thought, glance over at the inputs, and make sure it's down down-towards towards.

I had this problem on the 360, and it's a bit complicated at first, but it gets easier when you run through the motions more.

If it was the normal PS3 pad I'd say good luck, because that controller's emotional with me.

To do Cerebella's super grab you need to roll the stick at least three quarters of a circle (7 directions), e.g. forward, down/forward, down, down/back, back, up/back, up. One extra direction after a half circle (e.g. half circle forward, up/forward, throw) isn't enough to get the super. Also, it's worth mentioning that you only need to do a quarter circle for Cerebella's non-super grabs.

So it's definitely worth going into training mode to see what you're doing wrong but you don't have to be *that* precise with your inputs; you won't accidentally get a super when trying to do her other command grabs unless you're inputting 7 directions for a move that only needs 3.

Pretty much what Mr Peck said.

It's probably because you're subconsciously going for a 360 motion due to command grabs in other games. Just remember that it's a simple, qcf motion and you'll be fine. This used to happen to me all the time when I just started.

This shit still happens to me randomly. and its because if you input a command grab and then input the rest of the 360 after it'll input the super without you having pressing the buttons again lol. So I can't do command grab -> upback because I end up 360ing
