Glass Canopy and River King Casino NPC Database

At the risk of sounding like an elitist douche, I've found that the vast majority of people complaining about the fan NPCs are people who are just salty that they didn't get that tier due to lack of money or they simply just missed the IGG. Wouldn't take their complaints seriously.

Heeeya guys, I am a few months late but here we go!

Red-haired shorty at the end is mine! (part of it at least).

His name is Lyou and he's from a upcoming webcomic project called BigFight that I hope someday not too far away will be around. It'll be a story about a world where super-powered people are normal, and the greatest sport is an evergoing fighting tournament.

Lyou one of three main characters and is a huge nerd for fighting, he knows every move of every fighter that has appeared in public and has bought every possible action figure in existence. In SG's universe he would be a huge fan of Beowulf and Annie, but he pretty much roots for everyone who fights.

In the Casino he's dressed with something his mom put him to look classy.

Okay, here's the NPCs from the Glass Canopy. I'll prepare a proper grid like the earlier posts to identify everyone later, but for the moment, if you know anyone in these groups, please let me know!

That's the thing, really. You look at these and it's assorted folks just chilling. What the heck were some people trying to submit?!
But I know Mike_Z has to be a gentleman on this subject and remain silent on the matter so I won't pry.

Yep, that'd be Crybringer's alright. I saw a bunch of that character's concept art for a regular NPC in the Casino when Brady was streaming a few months back, but I didn't know which contractor submitted it. Cheers!

And yep, that's severin. I animated him and actually submitted a version of his NPC animation where he flicks his hair, but it was rejected. ;_;

Updated the images slightly because someone sneakily modified the character placements in the stages.
Set 1 and Set 3 now have their full in game rosters.

Zferolie's dragon girl is named Zandra.
Also on the first row the bald guy is Blaine from Pokemon. (This one isn't confirmed but it's good headcanon)

So this has just been brought to my attention:

I know Yuzuriha has been a thing since the days of River King Casino but I was under the impression she would stay there...or rather, she's not in any of Cellsai's Glass Canopy "distribution sheets".
Sadly, the screencap doesn't have any other NPC visible so we can pin point which set she's part of.
 
So has Lambda been a figment of my imagination this whole time or what.

NPCs have been drifting a bit between updates over the last few days, which was why I was dragging my heels with making these sheets because I didn't want to waste my time if the NPCs are just going to switch around in the next version again. Yuzuriha is currently in the Casino.

Okay, version 2 of the NPC list is now live! There's at least one NPC missing from this due to a mistake in the game (There's a character that only appears in the 2D version of Casino Set 6), but everything else shoooould be okay. Let me know if you spot any mistakes, and as always, please submit any information you know about the characters into this thread!

We can now embed Google Docs as Media on the forum so this will be much easier to update regularly.

Didn't know there was a thread for the npcs, the eye mask guy/Oculus is my npc. He's supposed to be my first rpg character that I made in my first tabletop rpg that I played a a year or two ago called Deadlands Noir. The setting of the game takes place in New Orleans in Louisiana in a alternate timeline of the US in the 1930's where the North and The South never reunited after the Civil War, as well as where both sides discovered a new natural-resource called ghostrock that's supposed to be more precious and useful than oil since it has supernatural properties. As far as backstory is concerned, he came from New York and moved down to Louisiana where he joined the police department in New Orleans, but he quit after a while and became a private eye when he witnessed how corrupt the police were (and they are, alot of the police are affiliated with a large crime syndicate called The Black Hand that practically own the city.) As for the mask, it's from how he becomes a vigilante at night and calls himself Oculus (the extra c was a typo, my mistake!). I pretty much based my character and his alter-ego on other detective heroes like Rorschach, The Question, Dick Tracy and Mr. A, and I went with the eye-mask design since I thought most heroes need a sort of design gimmick/theme, so I went with eyes and based the mask from the of the Eye of Providence/the All-Seeing Eye, since it and his alias are supposed to be a sort of metaphor on how my character truly sees how corrupt the city of New Orleans is and how he's always watching from the rooftops and in the shadows, ready to strike at moments notice. Oh ya and as far as what he looks like under the mask, he's supposed to look a bit like Max Payne, but a bit younger and less squinty looking.

lol. True. It's strange though. Looking at the original version they sent me of the NPC, it didn't have the white tip on its tail and the fur around his mouth was just somewhat a lighter brown than the rest of his fur. Hmmmmm, I think I'm going to send an e-mail to see if they can change it back to that. Or possibly even make his fur completely grey.

Thanks for posting the pictures of the NPCs by the way. Don't have access to the PC version currently to check it out myself
 
Oh ya, forgot to add my NPC/PC characters true name is Alan Kovaks (Alan as in Alan Moore, creator of Watchmen and Kovaks as in Walter Kovacs, aka Rorschach from Watchmen). Oculus is just his vigilante alias.

Yay, so glad to see Chainer in the Glass Canopy as originally intended thanks I'm assuming to Earl/Render who I pleaded to for the transfer and is always so pleasant to correspond with (I love the casino but I chose the character and formal dress make-over specifically to fit with the ballroom theme), I just hope she stays there and has a good position with plenty of lighting as her last one made it difficult to make out her features what with the grey skin and metal plating and chains.

Any word on when the Glass Canopy will be added officially to console versions of the game? And any information on if we Patron Saints can we finally share the images of our NPCs online as it's been a year of waiting to share this great opportunity with people who don't play the PC build seeing as Lab Zero are no longer uploading the images to their various webpages.

Great designs everyone, glad to finally see the full set and various backstories.
 
I'm not 100% sure, but I recall something about Glass Canopy being added to console versions with Big Band, event though the current stage theme is a placeholder that will be changed sometimes later.

Thank GOD the current Glass Canopy theme is just a placeholder. Hearing the credits theme in a stage is just awkward.
