I didn't saw any threads, so here is one.
Cygames payed ArcSystems to create fighting game based on thier franchise. So in the 2019 we will have Granblue Fantasy Versus, for PS4 and probably PC.
Famitsu scans:
KNOW INFORMATION:
- Designed by Team Red.
- 2.5D style with ingame cutscenes and stuff. GG Xrd style.
- Game target is people who doesn't play fighting games. I.E. new players, mobile players, Cygames fans.
- Simplified control scheme, limited combo strings, small air presence, auto-combos, supers/specials via 1 button.
- SF II play style, classic 1vs1, supers, EX-moves, there are also heavy cinematic supers, wich look like instakills or revenge supers.
- Netplay, ranked, E-Sport, alot of DLC.
RUMURED INFORMATION:
- Heavy accent on a story.
- A mode for people who dont like to PVP (wtf).
- Cygames asked Arc to add some features to keep hardcore players interested.
- Speculated starting roster, based on a game weapons logo:

Okay, if you lost interest after 1 button-specials hear me out. Cygames is fcn monster, they are asian Blizzard. They invest tons of money into their products. Games themselfs are great or at least above average + Cy dumps money into marketing, into cross media (anime, mange) and prize pools.
Do you know Shadowverse? This is a better version of Hearstone. Legit good game. It has 1,000,000$ prize pool this year.
Do you know Evo? That one FGC event. Cygames is official sponsor for at least a year already.
What does it all mean? Cygames will create greate or at least good game, it will be officialy present at Evo for some time, tournaments will have good prizes and bunch of favorite characters will be sold via DLC, so every one will be hooked (who can be hooked).
As Shadowverse player, I can't see how this game can fail. Even if only asians will play it, there will be enough people to keep wheels of fate turning)
