Guilty Gear Thread

I tended to prefer the dubs in the Blazblue games, personally. Of course, playing online always made me a bit self-conscious, because the majority of people I tended to encounter stuck with the GLORIOUS NIPPON voice acting.

Yeah I really like BlazBlue in english and I even prefer to use it over japanese but I either get japanese Hazama or no Hazama. :( If I could just set him up for JP that would be perfect.

i want a russian dub, i can't understand it but I think I would sound good in russian or what ever languages they speak in russia (it the accent i think)

Fun fact: O'Brien voiced Ky in the Overture dub.

Give Milia a Russian dub, since she's apparently the token Russian character.
 
I always prefer the original language, but there should always be options for different dubs if the company can afford it, which is the case for arc. It's always fun to see people complain about options, like when I asked if Revengeance was going to have an option for japanese voices, quite alot of people went nuts.

The more Liam O'Brien the better.

First I've heard of it. well, I think the new guy in the trailers is the perfect voice though. his vernacular and tone fit Sol perfectly. Troy Baker is nice but he fits more order Sol and regardless of the fact that both order and regular sol are the same person, they just feel like they'd have different voices.

also, I can't see Liam O'Brien as Slayer, probably more Jamieson Price, or maybe Mike McFarland. But not Liam O'Brien. Liam can maybe be Venom, Chipp, or Axel.

Actually, XX is a T-rated game. I believe the M-rating only applies to the current-gen version of AC+, because the raters back then were blind as a bat.
 
you know what? I admit I don't know that much about Guilty Gear! I barely know anything about it. I'm still shocked when I hear a character was, or is, addicted to drugs.

Makes me really sad, I hope there is some form of Daisuke Sol in GG Xrd.

It's George Nakata, who has been a voice option for Sol for a while, but you could pick between Nakata or Daisuke in options.
 
If, by a while, you mean Overture, AC, AC+, and AC+R.
 
like I said guys, I barely know anything about guilty gear. =w= I recently got back into blazblue after finally taking the time to understand the story and been slowly learning more of guilty gear as I go along
 
so i guess no more characters. . . oh well i like Milia a lot
 
There's still the potential of surprise appearances. In P4U2, Sho wasn't playable in he loketests, but then showed up at launch without problems. We might have a similar case here (though, probably for Val2.0).

You have to consider for Xrd they have to make these characters from scratch with this drastic change of style happening. Hoping for Bridget and Dizzy, but at this point Robo Ky doesn't even have a ghost of a chance judging on his competition for roster spots.

There is gonna be an inevitable updated version of this game with more characters, balance adjustments, plot advancement.
 
Im just sad about not having A.B.A., loved her abilities

Just kidding, but since the models are 3d think of the possibilities for new costumes instead of just colour palettes.
 
I hadn't thought of that. That's pretty awesome. I have faith Arc Systems will have better alts than the ones in SFIV lol

Hell I'd pay money for a DLC costume that makes her look like her old sprites
 
Potemkin already has a fully detailed rendered mug under the helm so I'm fairly confident ASW has some milking plans.
Now they can charge us for both colors AND alternates! And alternates' colors! Kaaaa-chiiiiiing! $_$
 
Watching that first Sol go was quite painful, like when Angry Joe played Skullgirls, disproves any illusions of all Japanese players being good or even competent at just basic stuff.

Man the game looks great in motion though, I'll be dropping everything that isn't Skullgirls to completely focus on getting good in Xrd. I can't wait to see all the footage that will start pouring in about four days from now.
