Still really hoping for a PC version. Also, I wonder if that Wii U petition had any impact with ASW.
As luck would have it, someone posted it in another message board I'm part of.
Train stages are almost always awesome.
So apparently Faust's What's Next (item throw) got nerfed a bit, slower and more punishable but in return, you can see what item is come next better (good that you can see it/bad that they can see it better) but he also has new toys like an oil barrel and a BLACK HOLE (which acts like a magnetic pull).... I just want this game now.

- Train stage looks amazing.
- I still find it hard to believe the characters are 3D models. That's how good they look.
- Also surprised at the pace development is going. I'd wager they were relatively well ahead when the announcement happened.
- I see lot's of new animations in Faust's repertoire. He was my first main in the series and I might go back to my GGX roots.
- Just noticed Faust's item throw is slower but it seems bomb and poison vial have larger areas of effect.
Slightly off-topic but there's something I've kinda always mulled about: what's the "community stance" on EX characters?
I'll assume they're automatically disbanded from competitive play but is their use shunned even at a casual level? I admit they're one of my favorite things in the series given that many let us use the characters in a considerably different manner, with exclusive special moves and supers. By AC+, I even favor some EX versions over the standard, chiefly Baiken because that QCB+HS somersault slash is just too much fun.
Making the bridge to Xrd - would you like to see EX characters return or do you think it would just be a waste of resources?
Arcades didn't have access to EX, Black or Gold characters. I forget if +R arcade has the EX characters available.
They aren't exactly balanced so you could see them or use them in casual play but most are just playing for practice and trying to improve (arcade, back of the line if ya lose).
You could probably find vids, I know there was EX character combo vids on internet.
depends on the game, but usually EX Sol has versions of his moves that work like the way they did in GG1.
I don't think they're necessarily inseparable. Aren't gold and black just stupidly overpowered versions of the default cast? (IIRC, Faust only item throw was meteors and Johnny's Mist Finer was a OHKO)
Capcom vs SNK 1 had them as well. They weren't as diverse as the ones in GG though. Unless the developers make a point in making them "legit", I suppose they'd be forever shunned by the "serious" crowd. Dunno how much appeal they have to the more casual crowd.
Well, yes. When I mentioned the return of EX characters, I meant for the home release.

You're only thinking of Gold mode in that case. Black mode is just the regular character with infinite Tension.
Closely followed by the *shivers* XNALara crowd. (Thank God for Pixiv because that thing was the last nail in the DA coffin for me.)
