Guilty Gear Thread

Better screen shots of Jack-O and new blitz shield. Also a user on Dustloop got his issue of Famitsu and said "Apparently, during the activation of Overdrives, you can spend your Burst to add more destructive power to them." Other then that though not much else so we might have to wait until this weekend to see more.

Doesn't Dizzy already have a model from the story mode just like Johnny? She is either gonna be the next one or is gonna be bundled to the inevitable console port. Helps that Dizzy apparently was one of the more popular characters too.
 
I guarantee that Dizzy will be DLC. No way they aren't going to charge extra for a character everyone will buy.

Is it weird I want characters that I don't play in just because of how they'd look in Xrd? Baiken, Testament and Robo-Ky all seem to me like they'd look great in 3D.
 
If the theory in that image is correct, Zappa will be added as the next arcade character, and since Dizzy has a model already, console will get her along with Testament.

A.B.A, Baiken, Justice, and Zappa would look bad ass in Xrd.

Of course A.B.A would, was listing characters I don't play that I felt that about. I thought of Justice too until the story mode happened, I figure we're just getting that design if we do get her instead of the old one in 3D.
 
God please give me double key combos with A.B.A in xrd.

New boys don't even know.

You're probably going to get what you want. Keep an eye out for whenever the loketest after this one is.
 
Given that we got a completely new character out of no where when most people were expecting someone from the older games, I wouldn't be surprised if it was another new character instead.
 
I don't know, haven't payed much attention to the Blazblue character cycles but it seems more likely we'd get another old characters as this is our 6th new one. I mean, I don't know this for a fact, but I would think the plan is to get most of the old cast in.
 
Just judging from the placing of everyone on the character select screen I'm pretty convinced it's Zappa. It's hard to compare this to Blazblue, since it it hasn't had a game that removed most of the old cast. You can't predict how ASW is going to balance adding in old characters with new ones.
 
I hope instead of a character called Zappa i want one that rhymes with Zappa (A.B.A.)

She has art similar to that in Slash as her arcade ending.

Actually, he'd make a good counterpoint to Faust on select screen since they're both doctors. So maybe Zappa isn't a guarantee?

On the select screen I see one guaranteed slot but inbetween bedman and jack-o right above could be one and where it says limit could be one.
