For anyone looking at this in the future i'll break it down how I am learning it with tips maybe they'll help someone else.

j.lp j.mk (2) j.hk xx barrel
(This is really quick j.lp ASAP j.mk your chilling in the air as soon as you hit j.hk go immediately into barrel I was waiting around on the j.hk to hit like how j.mk was this is wrong)

that answers a million questions just with that. I am still having consistency issues.
j.lp j.mk (2) j.hk xx barrel I guess I'm not pressing j.lp fast enough it feels like sometimes they are floating to far away from me or they are floating above me.
 
My bad on not noting that it's only one hit of j.lk. Sorry to anyone that was troubled by that.

So does that nonsense with her and cat heads in the corner still work too?
 
The standard barrel loop is universal until Big Band comes out (you have to do a momentum trick on the j.MK after j.LK for it to work on him.) Does 6.8K 1 meter @IknowReal

The Flashstep combo I posted earlier for Fortune and Parasoul is also universal (including BB) and does 6.8K 1 meter as well (a little more actually, but still 6.8K.)

Do you have a video of you doing this? I'm having trouble with the 5LP to stand them up.
 
are barrel loops still the best damage/reset option? my double is pretty butt, so i dunno if it's worth learning. I do know that barrel loops don't work on BB


teacup loops are also worth it since they give you the most damage on a full combo without flesh loops (barrels build more stun).

right now i am doing (this is not optimal but comfy, universal, and easy to confirm into):

stuff into hk xx hp shot - dash - mp hk - j. lp j. hk xx cup mk mk hk j.lk j.hk xx cup jab mk mk cr. hp xx hp butt xx car.

good if you want a late reset. if i want an earlier reset, i will use the barrel for the up front damage.

Character specific in timing an I think for some it's easier to replace the the cr. mp link after Cilia slide with cr.mk and the MK MK after the flesh step is easier when you start with jabs.

I don't like it that much because I prefer the positioning and reset points of cup loops and still get 7k+ for a bar
 
Its not about flesh loops its about luger loops obv. 7.2 universal, just get that tool assist dash!

Lel, its easy once you get into the habit of buffering dash immediately after the luger shot.
 
I don't see any talk about univerisal assist-less corner bnbs. What are people using now?
 
same as my midscreen except in the corner and sometimes no launch gun shot :P


also, i don't see many people do this but i am sure its known, but instead of doing teacup loops after hk xx hp luger mp hk instead of jlp jhk xx cup you can do jlp jhk barrel (land) mk mk hk jlk j.hk barrel lp lp stuff.

it doesn't build as much stun as regular barrel loops but does more damage then teacup loops. works on everyone from a straight ground launch but i have trouble after a luger relaunch against fortune and pw

Weight specific, but you just do s.HK xx Luger > 66 (Use Stick Dash to make use of Dash Buffer, not 2-Button Dash) > s.MK,MK,s.HK xx Luger > 66 > cr.LK,MK... Whatever.
 
It was way too much work. I got 7k off lights into super. I'm just going to stick to those flesh step loops for 7.4

What's a good air to air confirm?

j.LP,j.MK(1),j.HK is also good.

What are you doing these days? My combos are so shitty I've moved exclusively to ill-timed-j.HK-Crossup-reset-town after a single barrel loop.
 
So I was messing around in the lab with Rave Color Double and found this:

J.hp>cr.lk>cr.mk>st.hk>j.lk>j.mp(let it ride out for a second)>j.hk>land>j.mk(2 hits, then a SMALL delay)>j.hp>land>j.lp>j.mp(1 hit)>j.hp>st.lp>st.mp>st.hk>H Luger>M Luger

The M. Luger will be a green burst bait. It only works out of the corner and is super obvious to see coming, but eh.

Nup. Bursting after a projectile allows them to block.
 
Wait, really? I thought something was funny when I kept testing it in Training and when I hit the dummy after the burst the red counter flash wasn't showing up.

Damn...

I was so proud of myself for finding my little bait too.

Well, we'll just say that if they burst it gives you time for you to run up and keep up the pressure, which is always good for Double. I'll keep researching and try to find some cool stuff for our favorite gooey shape shifter.
 
Can we get some videos of up-to-date combos in one place? Like a mini combo video? I see @Luweewu 's but I keep getting confused with all this banter (IKnowReal....lol you're confusing me). I'm sure theirs a fairly universal combo that reaches 7k+...just gotta find it :D managed to w/Val, I'm sure double can too right? Anyways, I'm considering moving to double...but need some visual help here. Not really a huge notation person
 
Hey I just made this combo for max undizzy in the corner (6.2k)
It was the most I could get but I wanna know if anyone has something better
 
Anyone have something for maximum/consistent carry on two characters with different weights, i.e., to a corner for doublesnap?

I'll be labbing it up tonight, but would like to avoid reinventing the wheel if there's something simpler.

I've been trying to learn this for the last hour and I cant get it after the first j.HK. Sometimes the teacup totally whiffs and other times she blocks the bird on the ground. Is there some secret to the timing i'm not getting?

I believe it doesn't work on Cerebella due to the height of her hitboxes. On Big Band it will only work on midscreen (with s.lp starter), otherwise Avery on j.hk will hit before the cup and screw it up. I also THINK it will not work on Fortune because avery will not hit her on time midscreen, because she twists herself backwards when she's taking damage, therefore, it will only work on Fortune if you're in the corner.

I may be entirely wrong, though.
 
It works on fortune outside of the corner, i got it to work a few times. In the corner i found it to be slightly easier
 
Cr lk cr mp cr hp assistcall then slide, delayed st hk xx hp gun, slide, cr mp st hk j lk j hk xx barrel, st mk(2) cr hp xx flesh step, st lp(2) st mk(2) cr hp hk bomber car. Should work on all light, some mediums. Initial series can be made to work on on heavies, but I'm not sure the optimized stuff for later on in the combo
