(help me make) The Ultimate Skullgirls Beginner's Primer

-Assume players are using a standard PS4 pad. Maybe explain different controller options? Or, maybe just mention that (especially with SG) the PS4 pad works just fine and there's need to get a "real controller" to be good at the game.

-A quick rundown of common terms used?
These are both good considerations.

note: decided not to go with abbreviation explanation, as it won't be referenced anywhere else for anything.

Getting close to finalizing this, if there are any more suggestions, please let me know (and thanks for the suggestions so far). Remember, this is for brand new players who don't know why they're getting blown up.

I've read through the thread just now so forgive me if anything is an unnecessary repeat.

As someone who is far from "gud" at the game, having the proper Training Mode options set up was HUGE in my improvement at the game. Maybe a section of the video about what kinds of things to experiment with regarding input/damage lists, throw tech/block/pushblock settings, things like that for people to practice their combos and set-ups. Being a labrat can go a long way for many people, and imo will be more appealing for newcomers to practice with as opposed to the online warriors who will almost always body them free.

Also, I notice a lot of people who don't play SG but want to get confused over the team ratios, so a brief explanation of how health/damage output is scaled for all team sizes would definitely help a lot of people (this was a question constantly posed in the stream for CB this year).

This goes more to getting good, which this video is not about. This video is to get new players to understand that there's no such thing as, "there's nothing I could do!"

Team dynamics is already a topic listed.

I see, I thought that since highlighting the tutorial was a part of the primer, briefly highlighting viable training mode options to consider would work too. At this point it's probably too in depth for this video's purposes but personally training mode moreso than the tutorial taught me that getting hit first =/= instant death.
