USA High-level players in Boston area attending PAX East

I have officially stopped adding names to the list and have passed it along to Ravidrath, who will pass it on to the third party looking for participants. Thank you to everyone who sent me their info.

I've told Ravidrath to let me know when emails get sent out, so I can update this thread and people won't be left wondering.

Nope! They'll likely take our word for it when we say "these are good players", so you probably don't need to worry about digging up footage of yourself. I really have no idea what kind of things they'll ask, and what criteria they'll go by to decide who they want.

No idea. Presumably they will let you know when they contact you with more info/questions.

All this weird mystery has me excited for finding out what exactly is going down. I'm afraid ill show up and well be forced through a Ultimate ninja type game show.

If it's something like that - who knows? maybe it is - you'll know well ahead of time. Just because you volunteered to be considered, doesn't mean you have to say yes.
 
I'm not going all the way my email and opening it and then reading it just to back down. If that's the way it has to be, I'd just have to play bella with no throws and no lvl 3 through a Skullgirls themed Legends of the Hidden Temple style game show with Ultimate American Gladiator Ninja's.

Just got the e-mail. Wow, that was a surprising twist. Are we not allowed to reveal what the show is going to be about to anyone? I'm not going to, I want it to be a surprise, but just curious.

I'm surprised about it. I just feel bad that I am so removed from the current community play-wise. I have no videos of myself playing or anything because I am an xbox playing mac owner.

I am so sorry. That's, like, the saddest Skullgirls situation you could possibly have. It would only be worse if you lived somewhere with bad internet with no local scene at all.

Dude, I am so happy you got the email. They're not ready for what's in store .

:( I wanna play you again WayForger but the logistics of it are tricky. Did you ever manage to get any kind of offline scene going in Boston? I would be willing to drive up for that at least a couple times a month.

No, because I am an asshole and never met up with him. Gosh, do I even really love my scene? ;__;
 
The volunteers should have had a round Robin tournament.
 
If they get McPeanuts, it'll be the most diverse FG exhibition in ever.

Thanks Zid. It's alright. I'm just happy I can enjoy a fighting game like Skullgirls at all. Peanuts, there is offline scene for SG in Boston. I tried. It didn't work. One teenager in college can only do so much. I tried to get some people jazzed up to play, that never came to fruition. It stinks, but what can I do? Thanks for thinking of me fondly though. It means a lot.

It's ok man. I see you on the Skullgirls training ground page so I know at least you are being proactive there.
