how does the leaderboards exaclty work?

I was looking for my ranking in the leaderboards and for what I've noticed it depends of the amount of victories you accumulate in lobbies and ranked matches. The thing is, according to it, I got only six victories. I guess it subtracts your victories with your defeats so that explains it, but I'm not sure.
 
it doesnt subtract wins from losses but it also only counts wins from quick match (aka ranked match), not lobbies. also until a little over a month or so ago due to a bug it only counted wins if you were in a game where player 1 won regardless of whether or not you won, so that could be it also if you won a lot as player 2.

btw why can't I find anyone in a ranked match? Is it because of my low amount of wins?

the game does try to match people on wins but in the interest of finding games the search window widens very quickly (which is why a lot of people will say that once you reach a certain level quick match becomes very lopsided because the game is quick to match you with people not in your skill range). If you aren't finding people on QM its probably due to the time of day more than anything else. east coast primetime seems to be the most popular time to find people.

Set it to North America (West) and then <Any Region>

People are too lazy to move it off NA (West) so setting it to <Only Mine> on some other region won't find any matches.
