how to reset data ?

So i completely finished the game several months ago and want to reset my save file , i tried deleting the files in the save area of the game but for some reason it hasn't reset , any idea what i'm doing wrong ?

Make sure you disable Steam's cloud saving or it will restore from the back-up.
Right click Skullgirls and go to Proprieties > Updates > Uncheck 'Enable Steam Cloud Synchronization for Skullgirls'.

Then delete your entire Skullgirls save data folder in 'My Documents'.

i just now remembered something , im no longer using my old account that skullgirls was downloaded with soooooooo does that mean the steam cloud saving would still work ?
