So, Lamia and Mother are said to be the same person, but not in the way we most likely think where Mother shapeshifts into Lamia. And besides, Double calls Aeon and Venus her daughters in Eliza's story mode? How does this work?
I think this is how the story goes.
Mother's Disguise
Queen Lamia was an avatar for Mother in the way we customize game avatars as our "self-insert" in games. Through Lamia, Mother asserted dominance over a kingdom and got two daughters Aeon and Venus during the Age of Theons, where parasite-holders were still of status. Somehow, Mother as Lamia finds a way to give Aeon and Venus super-powerful parasites, parasites strong enough to distort time and space. Mother went to Earth because she has a plan, which I cannot think of at the moment.
Eliza Attacks
Eliza goes on a rampage then kills the Queen Lamia avatar, Aeon, and Venus. But, Eliza didn't know that Aeon and Venus now have very powerful parasites that allowed them to cheat death in another realm DOMINANT to the Skullgirls word! So, Mother's plan is back to square one. Her backup is to have Aeon and Venus take over the verse first then spread Trinitism first through Double.
Double
I think Double is the mangled body of Lamia, which Mother revived and gave an individual consciousness and shapeshifting powers. But a piece of the Lamia identity stuck: Double thinks Aeon and Venus are her daughters as an individual, not Mother's when this flesh vessel was being used by Mother.
Gehenna? That might be what's left of Queen Lamia's Kingdom absorbed by Double which I've seen in someone else's theory, never mind how Double pulled that off.
TL;DR - Mother had a plan that required her to go on Earth so she makes a flesh avatar named Lamia and gets two daughters Aeon and Venus then gifts them parasites that control space and time, allowing them to cheat death when Eliza ruined the plan. Mother revives the Lamia body as Double to spread her agenda to bring the Trinity to Earth, and gives Double powers. Double, however, with her consciousness, believes Aeon and Venus are her children as an individual.
