Peacock Double Parasoul
I am garbage in this game!

I've tried in the past but now I'm just flat out ugly bad.

So help me out folks, what characters would you put on a team to be most annoying with?

Mind you when I say annoying I mean I want to play a VERY, VERY defensive game. I'm not suited for rush down, and well combos aren't my strong point either. Hence why I was sad Marie didn't make it in as she was listed to be influenced by a keepaway style.

I love playing Peacock, Double, and Parasoul, but all defensively and rocking day one combos haha.

With Big Band and Elizia and all them in now who would you put in? Or change up?

Something akin to Team Duc in MvC2, or even Team Scrub? The farther I can keep you away the better!

Or something.

I personally think Peacock sucks (hush they'll hear me) and she makes a better battery then zoner lol. Double zones better imo (hush they're still listening!).

Double, Big Band, Eliza (sp)?

No Double should go last. Hmm.
 
Peacock/filia/cerebella

Go updo with filia and you have some of the best peacock synergy out there. Also use cerecopter assist and you can use it to block off huge amounts of space while you charge items, and filia gets copter lockdown cheese. Or you can go the tj route and basically never have a corner for peacock by calling lock n load h and then teleporting behind it.

Another one you can try is some form of peacock and fukua backed by m bomber.

Or something like:

Fukua/parasoul with pillar/peacock with h bomb.


All keepaway all day. And probably the best pure keepaway trio out there.


When playing keepaway though, its kinda a good thing to keepaway from assists that cause knockdown unless you plan on converting the otg. The reason is because knockdown allows the other characters to tech towards you... Which. Is something you dont want. Fukua drill assist is perfect for this kind of thing.
 
I can NOT play Filia or Bella at all, but Fukua / Parasoul / Peacock may have its merits.

H bomb is the plane right?

Also try out lk bomb, the walking one... Its ridiculously annoying.
 
Solo band.

When in doubt, mash it out.
 
Peacock as anchor tho?

Peacock is a great anchor. You can use her as an actual anchor at which pin t she is very good because of being able to setup her offense with items, or playing defense with item hold into superjump double jump stuff. Teleport has been buffed in speed and is hard to punish now unless you are REALLY looking for it.
And anchor peacock doesnt have to be used as an anchor. You have the games highest damage lvl1 super and it puts you right where you want to be, without needing to deal with incoming mixups or round start stuff plus you have great meter burning combos that melt hp and a safe on block dhc.

Double/Pillar I STILL think is the most braindead/simplistic/quick results team in the game if your neutral is even halfway decent.

Peacock/HK Bomber/Pillar is a perfect MVC2 style team imo. I call it team "Washed Up"

Battery/Meter User/Assist, very basic MVC2 formula and its super good. Covers a lot of option and lets you get away with a lot. If you they Kill peacock, you just run Double/Pillar which if you were playing the match correctly you will have AT LEAST 2-3 meters.

At NEC or sometime soon i'll hook you up because i've always noticed you and I liked the same 3 characters haha.

Yes well your comobos / execution are on point but I play the those characters vastly differently.

I think Parasoul has some untapped potential with her napalm mines and Double with meter > everyone imo

Please drag me away from UNIEL at NEC. I'll go 0-2 in Dengeki too (hopefully) lol
 
Peacock IS a good anchor its just kinda like Zero in UMVC3. Good in the anchor position but kinda... wasted potential when you can just that character on point and do waaaay better.

Also Chibi yeeeeeees thats the point of the team though. Double COMES in with meter after Peacock does all the work, but now... YOU GOTTA DP ASSIST O YES. Her mixups and neutral get sooo much better with it. I still think Pillar is top 3 best assists for Dubs no contest.

We gotta collab and do some fun stuff :3
 
Just go with either:
- Solo Filia
- Peacock + Big Band

Solo Filia while downloading Hentai if you really want to rustle some jimbos; Set your name to GiantKingTurtle though.

It's not that it has to be unique, just 'annoying' in that it can shut down the constant rushdown many folks go for.

Dunno if you caught it, so I'll do this with a bit more words: Play my team, it's as annoying and defensive and zoning as it gets.

I will try that, got any combos to throw at me :S?
 
Peacock + BB ( H Brass ) is annoying as shit. Great damage output and lots of ways to get your opponent back to fullscreen away
 
Zero and Peacock would fail as a anchor for the same reason. Both need to setup their game to be effective and are extremely vulnerable on incoming while not needing much meter. I would recommend Fukua/Parasoul/Double. Keep away plus multiple chipping and safe DHCs with lots of full screen fireballs.

Exactly what I came here to say. If you just want to deal a bunch of chip damage as a keepaway team like MvC2 team Duc, sticking with a duo for the extra damage can make a big difference. Especially with an assist that deals as much damage as big band's H rush punch.
 
Solo Fukua if the solo buff makes it to the main game.

But he said he doesn't want to rush down or do combos so I can't think of any other teams. I would have suggested Filia or Fukua/Bella otherwise maybe hm
 
Definitely check out Fukua for point, she has fireballs, air fireballs, a fast low hitting projectile (L Shadow) and a fireball super that is also air-ok! She can do a lot of chip!

For assist, Big Band is one to explore. Even his short combos hit hard and H Rush Punch or L Beat Extend are good for defense (although L Beat Extend would bring them to you on hit). He even has that H Giant Step that is a slow overhead but fullscreen unblockable if you're on the ground and not already in hit or blockstun like Pot's
 
Fukua Double Peacock I run this sometimes and your Fukua has to be on point(not saying on point as in first) so that Peacock only has to clean up

2v Teams: Fukua/Big Band, Peacock/Big Band

3v Team: Peacock/Big Band/Filia,Peacock/Big Band/Fukua

Anytime I see any of this combination I just decide to cry myself to sleep, instead of dealing with it.
 
Squigly with beat extend is the scrub buster team. Get your hit with beat extend and do virtually undroppable combos into dirty and easy to execute resets. Also, dhc into SSJ makes up for squigly's lack of damage output, somewhat. Ideally, you need to do a good amount of work with squigly and Big Band is there to just clean up what's left (something he's very good at doing without much effort).

EDIT: I should say I like to use this team for solos. Especially solo filias. They get pinched by the beat extend because they airdash around constantly. This team has done alot for me against Pikmario, Jaraf(if you even consider him a good solo filia, no disrespect), GiantKingTurtle(total scrub trash fite me irl ayy lmao), etc.
