If Marie (boss version) was a playable character...

WE ALL KNOW MARIE from the story mode, the girl who contains the skullheart and the one who is the most difficult to get through. Even though Marie was a candidate for the extra character slot back from the campaign and I think she had a different set of moves instead of the boss version of it. My question is: If we get to play as Marie (boss version) how will she play out in the online matches?

People have already done as much through hacking, before it was patched. She's entirely broken, because (surprise surprise) she wasn't meant to be played by humans. Her projectile summons have no startup or recovery so you could mash them every frame and summon enough bone rams to crash the game, or at least slow it to a crawl. Other than that, absolutely nothing worthwhile to mention.

Boss Marie will never be a normally playable character. She is fundamentally different from every other character in that she can't be grabbed, can't be put in hitstun through normal methods, can't jump, can't block, etc.

I wanted Marie playable before the initial release so bad that I sometimes like to imagine that she would be playable in a tweaked version using the same sprites. She would be throwable (she disappears and we only see the Skullheart and some blue aura) and would fly up and down with no crouching state. Her attacks would summon her skulls and minions in different ways, not only like she does now, to try to make normal moves from it.

.... but of course that would be a half of a real character. There are not enough materials to make a complete one. What if some new animations where made? Still hard to imagine a character without real normals. It's not like when here on Skullheart people started to imagine George playable, who would be a joke character (and that would be awesome btw lol)

I was playing with my friend and my game glitches out! We went to the character select screen and we saw the name"Marie" at the top of the screen!

Has anyone else seen this? I would to know and what do you this meant. Was Marie going playable in normal versus matches

You can play as her in some of the Challenges on PS4. And everyone got a name thing, even Umbrella. :^P
