Here's one thing has has been bugging me though. If not all the 'carnations revealed are playable, then why are all of them either visibly armed or described to be fighters?
For the same reason that we all are potential dangers to our surrounding i guess. Plus, it's not because someone is able to fight that it want to go on an epic quest fighting giant monsters, but that doesn't stop them from sharing their power with Ajna once absorbed.
well that too... I guess... But hey Ed's just being nice, just like how Mike was nice to him for making the stick drivers that made it possible for players to have fun with MKX.
You know, I've been wondering... is L0 going to hire translators? I have a few freelance translator experience, but sadly it was nothing important or official, so I don't really have a portfolio, but I'd love to help them with the Spanish version of the game, if that's possible.

Welp, gotta keep looking for a better job then. By the way, now the campaign is InDemand, can we still keep donating without having to select a perk? If we have a whole year to get that sweet hard dungeon, then I want to donate for a whole year.
In case you won't be able to make character A playable, what its status will be? Incarnation but non-playable or character but not an incarnation or not presented in game at all or what?
Incarnations are Incarnations. They'll all be present, we don't plan on cutting anyone completely in any circumstance.
@Mike_Z Speaking of which, i heard once that one of the type of game that you would like to do one day is a competitive puzzle-fighting game. I'm curious to know, what game of that kind you like best? Good game of that kind are few and far between!
Tetris Attack, no contest. Pretty much all other vs puzzle games have the exact same flaw that Tetris Attack doesn't have, which makes them very frustrating for me. :^) I made this a long time ago in college: http://sourceforge.net/p/tattack/wiki/Home/ (reskinnable TA clone with meticulously researched mechanics and online play that doesn't require real-time syncing or superfast networks to function)
and I already designed one I've never had time to finish that uses some of the same principles (never let you die until you stop making chains, etc) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jelix_game.jelix.lite
although the Android version was much more a test of whether it can work on touchscreens rather than a finished thing. There's a much more advanced dev version that I never did anything with. I keep meaning to show it on stream, maybe I'll do that soon.

Are they? Nuna, Tenoch, Zahra, Thorani, Tatanka, Sangmu, Kushi...
Note that I'm ONLY mentioning this to contradict your statement, because they are not visibly armed or described as fighters. This has nothing to do with what we'll do with 'em, I just hate incorrect generalities. :^)

Well, Thorani already has concept art of slapping fools with her hair, so i hope she's at least playable. The others......i don't really care and/or I trust you guys to make the best decisions :3.
Also for my life to be complete i need to see her breasts jiggle as she gracefully kicks ass T_T

Cool! I also really liked Tetris attack back then(i probably overplayed it!), and there isn't much game that play like it. I tried to run ATAC, but i guess it will be hard to find a player! Nevertheless, it's fun to see that you already worked on one, well two!
There is one game thought that also it may seems weird at first, actually share many of the strength of Tetris attack : 'Wind and water puzzle battle'. It's started on the dreamcast but is now a freeware on pc. It works with 'the tiles are placed in hexagon instead of straigth line, and there's multiple set of rules that can be chosen that makes the game simpler or more complex depending of the taste. On top of that, the single player element is way more involved than the usual game of this kind, with a world map like super mario world, each stage having different rules ect...it starts like a glorified tutorial, but ends with severe challenge. Not that the game is perfect, but if you want another fix of this kind of game it's definitely worth investigating!
Congrats! I wasn't able to support you guys like last time, but the amount brought in makes me very happy for Indiegogo/Kickstarter in general, and doubly so for LabZero. I'll probably put in some dollars slackerbacker-style later cause I wanna see animeeeeee. Is that still on the table? O:

Yo, I would really love to see a versus puzzler from you. Kinda puzzling (no pun intended) that this genre has more or less dried up in an era where online should be giving them new life.
Nintendo, where's my new [whatever you're calling this series now] on 3DS with working servers? Also get me a proper Meteos sequel (with that amazing original art style instead of replacing it with Disney) while you're at it, that's my absolute favorite.

Tetris DS was pretty fun with online VS. Dr. Mario just got a recent release as well (though I'm unsure how well that holds up competitively). I remember huddling up in Gamestop with some friends back in high school just to download that Meteos demo and play some matches :D (ahh... simpler times...).
My favorite puzzle games would have to be either Puzzle Fighter or Puyo Pop (I've never actually played Tetris Attack, let alone against another person). I really liked the GBA Super Puzzle Fighter II because you could play VS with each person holding one end of the handheld; it gets seriously hectic! Hsien-ko was really cute in that Pocket Fighter style. <3
Another one i overplayed! I especially played the Sun version alot in my college day! The latest version, puyo puyo vs tetris, were more balanced than i thought it would be! Hoping it won't be the last game of the serie, with sega being what they are these days...
I almost literally grew up on Puyo Puyo... Since it's inception on the Sega Gens/Snes (and it's clones Mean Bean Machine and the worse Kirby's Avalanche). Then I got my mits on the real version and was in love XD

Hey, go for it man!
Y'know, when you think about it, the campaign hasn't even really ended yet. Now people can keep pushing it for as long as they feel like. Heck, the Super Best Friends could have the Baz Vote running until the middle of next year if they wanted, or other sites could keep offering pledge incentives of some kind. It's hard to think about doing anymore campaigning at this point, but we'll see what happens as next year progresses. Things will definitely pick up a bit once new gameplay is revealed.
I, for one, am excited for when we get the chance to assist in the builds. I missed the fun paper doodles for the Skullgirls Beta stuff and this would be a great chance to do it again ^_^ shoot, one of the things I would of loved to have for Skullgirls was "paper cut out" palettes XD Those was pretty fun to look at... atleast to me.

Ah, yeah, I remember renting Bean Machine by "accident" as a kid... (same deal with Spinball; curse you, SEGA and your exploitative marketing!). Thankfully it prepared by body for the real deal later in life. ^_^ (Raffine all day!)

Ha ha! Hmm... It looks like the 3DS has Puzzle League Express... Would that be a good place to start, or should I look towards... "other" means? (not many are available on recent hardware)
I've never played the Puzzle League versions, but I've heard that they could be slightly different than Tetris Attack, and they play a little bit simpler.
Since Nintendo ran into issues using the Tetris license for the game later on, try seeing if there's a 3DS version of Panel De Pon anywhere (there might be one featuring Yoshi, which is actually Tetris Attack). Otherwise, I think your best bet would be to use *coughcough* ...

There's also Planet Puzzle League for the original NDS, but carts for that are still running at $30... Must be really tough to find. Either way, if the recent ones changed things up significantly, then it might be better to take a look at the older ones.
Puzzle League Express, like all the other Express DSiWare ports, is just a cut down version of Planet Puzzle League with only a few modes included. There's a Vs. CPU but no actual multiplayer, but PPL's servers are shut down anyway so unless you have some local friends to play with that may not matter to you.
AFAIK there haven't been any significant changes throughout the series, though I'm sure some purist can point out some differences in timing or garbage formulas or whatever. In terms of features, I'd say the best was Nintendo Puzzle Collection on Gamecube, but that was Japan-only (not like you need to be able to read though, and at least this version has the fairies in it). Pokemon Puzzle League on N64 has most of the same stuff, but has some framerate issues. Planet Puzzle League is also good.
Yeah, I heard they took out a lot of special "tactics" in the Pokemon ones. Again, never played them for myself, but I'm sure I'd notice the differences pretty quick if what I've read was true.
Man, I'm so glad I still have my SNES. For the last few years I've pretty much just left the Tetris Attack cartridge in there for whenever I get the itch. Unlike some other SNES games I own, I find I just don't enjoy playing it as much with an *a-choo!*
But yeah, Indivisible! Sooooo...what would Ajna's favorite puzzle game be?
