To quote the top comment on the Naga Rider reveal video.
So in other words if he isn't an
exact exact copy of the character he's already an exact copy of we're going to have a serious problem?
I'm kidding, I'm kidding, he can scream whatever he wants.
Alright, while this update gave us practically no lore, It did give is us a few important little snippets which i'm pretty good at expanding on. Apparently one of Naga's titles is "Defender of the Dharma" which i find pretty interesting. So far we have only known about his extreme grudge against Mara, but apparently there is a religious motive to his actions as well. I say religious instead of spiritual because as far as I know The Dharma is pretty explicitly a concept of Buddhism (and the other eastern religions).
This update also makes it clear that Naga is
the most impressive user of Iddhi shown so far. His armor
and his mount are now both described as being borne entirely of his own psychic consciousness. He must be in a league of his own as far as psycho-spiritual development goes if he's just manifesting large, physical objects as "thoughtforms" like that. He's trained himself to the absolute limit even when compared to the likes of Tungar, like Batman only psychic powers are a widespread thing so he gets a
crapload more bang for his buck. I'm quite curious about his "dark past" now. One questions if he's even fully human or something similar to Ajna (who is all-but-stated to be part-Devi).
