Introduce Yourself!

Hey everyone! My name's WhiteMageSlave, but I also go by Tam.

I've loved playing games my entire life, but I've never really tried to go competitive.

I've loved Skullgirls since I first saw it when it was just Filia and Cerebella, and spent many a night staying up to watch Salty Cupcakes live despite being on the east coast. I've never done tournaments, and I'm actually pretty shy and rarely get online to fight against people. I'm the best player among my friends, which really doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things. I signed on hoping to get the courage to play against people and the willingness to get my ass kicked :'D Destroying Nightmare mode NPCs doesn't mean a thing compared to fighting real people.

My general main is Peacock, but I also seem to be good with Parasoul, Valentine, and Double. Painwheel is my weakest link. I want to keep Big Band on my team but I don't have the PvP experience to say if I'm any good.

I'm an aspiring writer/designer, and have concepts for my own video games I'd love to make some day (including a fighting game that I came up with after staying up particularly late watching Salty Cupcakes).

I just signed up for a forum account. Anyways, I bought Skullgirls when it first released and played on and off. I just put a new HDD in my PS3 which has been down for about 4 months. I tried to figure out how to upgrade to Skullgirls Encore, but I only have the option to re-buy it. I shouldn't have to do that because I bought the original. I also never received an upgrade code in my inbox. What should I do?

My name is Dan. I always loved fighting games Like Tekken and street fighter but as I grew older I kind of fell out of the video game scene a bit. I was watching Saturday night salt to cheer on one of my friends who linked me to the stream and I was lucky enough to win one of the free copies of the game they were giving away during the stream! :PUN:

I graduate College in about 2 weeks and will be returning to my summer work as an Ice sculpter and helping my burnt out dad drag race on his pit crew.

I've been playing the game a little bit so far already and I absolutely love it! The animations are so cool!

Oh hello! I'm not really good with introducing myself. Um I really don't know what else to say. I draw sometimes. I like dogs too. I'm very sure you guys don't know me. If one of you guys knew me that would be odd I suppose. So yeah. I like Skullgirls but I'm not really good at it. So yeah. I really like Skullgirls so yeah.

Hello. Decided to sign up here finally. Been a fan of Alex' art since 2005 or 2006 or so. Was quite happy to see SG become reality a few years ago.

I was actually registered in the very first SG forums! Back when it was mostly dead and the project was still in its baby shoes.

Wanted to get more in contact with the community and hopefully get back into fighters too! My contributions to the forums will likely be simple posts and occasional fanart.

That's it for the moment I think! I'm hoping for an enjoyable time!

I have found out of Skullgirls through a Youtube Video (Skullgirls Maniac Combo Movie).

Games? Well, MVC 1 and 2, Call of Duty, Need for Speed and such. :D

Hi. I'm Lagiacrus. I usually go by Leviathan but that name is already very heavily connected to something in the game so I went with something else. I'm new to the forums and new to fighting games in general. The only fighting game I got into before Skullgirls was SSBB and that's not quite the same thing. I play Miss Fortune and Big Band now that he has been released, and I want to play Painwheel but she's a bit too complicated for me at the moment. I'm not very good at the game, but only using an Xbox controller doesn't really help.

I play League of Legends, Team Fortress 2, Monster Hunter, Pokémon and some other stuff, generally depending on my mood. I also play Yugioh and is currently working on a Sylvan deck which is going to need to be changed around a lot when the next booster is released.

I kinda wanted to get into the community since Skullgirls in general is hella rad and I thought it would be a good place to learn new things and meet new people.

How do you end an introduction anyway?

Im just a complex guy with a simple name (it's actually my nickname irl and it makes for an easy af username)

I've always been into fighting games but SG is one of the only ones i feel really good at! Im here because i have a lot of love for this game and i would hope to see every speculated character added even though it would take a while and cost a lot but hey, doing a good fuckin job so far so i wouldnt mind waiting and helping pay for it all.

I usually play on PSN with my boyfriend's account since my PSN account is only on Vita :p adn yes he plays as well~

Other than that, im an avid competitive Pokemon battler with a few gens worth of expirence and that's really my only true obsession in my life.

Im very willing to play for some fun as well learn how to use all the characters, as well as he. I will probably be his voice since he usually does follow me to forums but he rarely uses the accounts.

So very nice to join you all and im ready to get out there and PLAY!
 
Sup, the names BackwardCap. I've been a fan of SkullGirls for a long time now but I never knew that their forum was up and running until now (It always said "coming soon" back in the day).

Unfortunately the game was released shortly after my ps3 got yellow lighted so I never got the chance to play it. I'm hoping my friend will let me put in on his system once I get funds on my psn account.

Just a quick hello. I've been a Skullheart lurker for quite a while and have even posted the occasional message, but have never actually introduced myself... umm... Hi!

Currently live in Osaka, Japan so my ping is pretty crappy most of the time. On top of that, I'm not that good... so if you like watching "Power Points" of Ms.4chan and Val getting pummeled, let's play!

Outside of the game I teach English for a living, draw comics out of passion (so-so), and play tabletop/rpgs/lcgs.

I guess I'll join on in. Hi. I'm Pringles. I'm new to the fighting genre and enjoying it largely. I live in Texas and it's hot here :( .

Other then that I work and go home and chill with my cat and play SG's with a few other games. My two favorite characters (fighters (?)) are :BIG: and :PEA: ... Solo of course and I can't wait to play each and everyone one of ya'll!

I played a little bit of SFIV vanilla and then only picked fighting games back up with the release of skullgirls on pc
After playing some skullgirls and enjoying it I found out I have a local fighting game scene and now I spend most of my time playing AE even though I hate it and love skullgirls
Feel free to add me on steam so we can not play skullgirls because I'm either at work or at locals playing AE
 
Hello everyone! It's been a long time hasn't it?

For those of you new to the forums my name is Kelsey but I'm also sweetappleangel, one of the mods in the Twitch chat for the Salty Streams (and I bug them a lot during the streams). I've done some sticker designs for Eightysixed Clothing and helped with animating some of the donation NPCs for the River King Casino and Ballroom stages. I also draw a webcomic called Drop Dead Vince.

It's been a long while since I've posted on here, I hope you've all been alright. As for me, I don't really know what to say. It hasn't been my best year so far, recently I've been having a hard time trying to find work and I've been really unhappy with myself. It's been rough lately.

I can't remember the last time I posted on here but I really should change that. I've missed this place, and I missed you guys too. I'll do the best I can to post more in the future!

No, there wasn't anyone else, I just had a feeling and didn't really want to ask cause it would be kinda awkward if you weren't the same person. :P
 
Just saying hey. I live in the fun land of
Finland. My past experiences with fighting games are
minimal to the point of Skullgirls being the first one I've been
able to get into. I understand the basics and such while
longer combos are getting out of hand. But I'm sure that with
the rate of training I've done, I'm slowly getting there.

I try to play SG as much as i can, i just love the visuals and the soundtrack.

I'm Frances and I'm 18. I'm fairly new to fighting games, I suppose. I have been playing skullgirls since it came out but only recently started taking it more seriously. I play PC and xbox and I main Ms Fortune solo or Painwheel/Fortune team.
I'm an artist and an animator. I enjoy biking, playing video games, drawing, and watching cartoons.
I feel a little bit silly and out of place on here considering I'm kind of casual but I really hope to get better!!
 
so... I'm Sefazures, I was on SH before it went down too as flicks.

I'm a bad PS3-only SG player from the UK. I got into SG around the time of the IGG, but stopped playing because of all the delays. Trying to get back into it, I'd play on steam but my laptop's too bad :(

Hello people! Call me Moonfan. I've been playing Skullgirls since it came out on Steam, but only recently joined Skullheart. I spend my free time playing video games and watching anime, but I'm usually busy with college work. Skullgirls is the first fighting game I've really gotten into and I'm really enjoying the community. Hope to have more fun with it in the future.
 
Hello everyone, Derek here. I like 2D fighting games and my favorites are SF3: Third Strike, Darkstalkers 3, and Skullgirls. I like anime and videogames. I'm trying to improve my skills in Skullgirls as of now. Valentine and Filia are my favorite characters :)

I'm someone that discovered Skullgirls by the trailer in 2012 and played it on PC when it come out.
I'm someone that love cartoons fighting game where you can do lots of combo and drawing cute things (but i cannot draw humans :c ). (I got an art blog)
I'm playing with an mayflash arcade stick that i'm planing to mod someday.
My most played character in it is Peacock, Painweel and Parasoul (and trying to learn BigBand). I considere myself an intermediate player.
