On July 28th – July 30th 2017 Defend the North RETURNS to the Crowne Plaza Hotel to host New York City’s premiere major fighting game tournament. Make sure you sign up as soon as you can. Prices will go up for registration as the date gets closer to the event. If you have any questions on the pricing and/or scheduling of the pricing, please don’t hesitate to contact us. All pricing will be altered after 11:59 PM of the last day between each cycle.

$40.00 USD (February 6th, 2017 – June 28th, 2017)
$50.00 USD (June 29th, 2017 – July 21st, 2017)
$60.00 USD (On-Site Registration ONLY on July 28th, 2017)

REGISTRATION NOTIFICATIONS Please note for on-site registration, it will be available on July 28th Friday between 4pm – 10pm and on July 29th Saturday between 8am – 10am. Once passed the time frame will we NOT HAVE ANY EXCEPTIONS for on-site registration. Please make sure you show up during these time frames. Thank you!

Spectating Venue Fee
If you are a person who enjoys to watch the action for entertainment you can choose to pay for a spectator venue fee;

$30.00 USD (All Weekend Pass) *All spectating fees are at door-registration, the day of the event. There is no pre-registration for this option.

I'm going to be the main TO for Skullgirls this year. As a result its going to be my responsibility to make sure SG runs well and everyone has a good time. Put your faith and me and come to this event!

*IMPORTANT* If you are only entering Skullgirls register under Tier 2. It will make venue fee a little bit cheaper. This goes for anyone only wanting to enter Tier 2 games. If you want to enter Skullgirls and a Tier 1 game, simply register under Tier 1.

Didn't see an update here, so I'll just bump this with some news:

The Skullgirls Tour is giving this event a $500 pot bonus. In addition to that, there's a "Road to Defend the North" event going on that we'll be streaming on Stream.me/SkullgirlsTour. That event is getting a $100 pot bonus, it's free entry, and for every 5 pre-registers for Skullgirls at Defend the North before July 8th we'll add $25 to that pot up to a max of $300. So, if you're attending, pre-register soon! Even if you aren't entering the online tourney, you help put money back into the community.
