Steam - Windows Kicking people apparently messes up their game.

This bug has probably been around for a while now, but long story short, I make First to 7 lobbies.
If someone loses 7 matches and won't leave, I decide to kick them.
They add me and typically cuss me out, talking about how it breaks their game.

Is there any possible way to even fix that? it's something about how the lobby menu overlay crosses over into the lobby's overlay itself.
I understand if it can't be fixed, but I'm just curious.

I dunno about it happening on kick because I don't get kicked often but it happens to me randomly when I leave my own lobbies too, I think it's just another lobby bug

If I even breath wrong or sneeze too loud my menu does this.
I'm really used to it.

It's just as likely to happen after a kick as it is by them leaving manually.
