Steam - Windows Major FPS drops

Specs are windows 11
I7-11700k
RTX 4060
32 gigs DDR4 ram

I decided to boot the game after not playing for a month just to mess around but no matter the stage after a bit my FPS drops from 60 to in the low 40s. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

I honestly play on a potato pc and I have always gotten like 60fps on the high and it constantly stays on there only dropping to like 50 and then going back up,

Check if there is something like malware that could be ruining the performance of the gameplay, that’s the only thing I can think of. Hope it helps!
