USA [Mar 22, 2014] Team St1ckbug (Brooklyn, NY)

I'm gonna try and get there by noon so I'llbe leaving aaround 10 and take the train in, but if anyone needs a ride into the city from north jersey I can pick them up and drive in. I'll also be bringing my ps3 and get a setup going early. Well, that's my plan anyway (I be lazy sometimes).
 
Yeah Zid, Nate, and I are aiming for noon-ish. I don't know what the traffic situation is going to be like, I've never driven directly into New York City before (only driven through New York state to Ohio, and Pennsylvania,) KoF starts an hour before Skullgirls, and I want to get casuals in before both tournaments. So I figure that noon is the safest for all of these.

I'll try to get there early since I have to see how the transit goes. Guess I'll play GG or SG casuals with anyone there.

So I finally get home from work, get to relax, and prepare myself for the abuse I'm about to receive tomorrow. GET HYPE!

In order for Icky to bring me, it's like 2 extra hours (so me going would turn a 6 hour road trip into a 8 hour road trip). I had a ride that would bring me closer so it would add no extra trip time, but they called me earlier and told me they can't make it. And now I'm having an impossible time getting to sleep, so even with a ride I would be falling asleep the whole time. I could try and force it, but whenever I try and force a thing to happen it ends up blowing up somehow and everything gets ruined.

I'm pretty upset by this. This was going to be a good chance to test my mettle. All these great and exotic players that I haven't played seriously in a long time (if at all), I wanted to play them in tournament. And I wasn't going to troll with Peacock. And casuals all day, and meeting everyone was going to be awesome. And I've never had Ginger Ale from Brooklyn before. And supporting Skullgirls tournaments. I'm just sad now.

dude I'm not great and exotic, I'm just another dude who plays for lolz and calls it a day.
 
By "great and exotic" i mean "cool people not from Game Underground". That shit's exotic to me. GU people are awesome, but I was hoping to see brooklyn is all.

Heading out in about 30-45. If no one has a PS3 setup when I get there, I'll try to make PC work, assuming the monitors like me this time around.

Heads up organizer, @matlokholmes will probably get there a little late, arriving in New York at 3:10 and hopefully 15 more minutes to next level. I'll pay his entry fee, so please don't exclude him.

So that was fun. Dunno if I'll go to another one, cause driving out that far across all those highways did a number on me, but I enjoyed it.

Major props to @dekillsage for lending me his converter for like 90% of my matches, even the one vs him.

Brooklyn traffic is horrible. I don't think I'll have much luck convincing anyone to drive me there ever again.

I'll still see if I can though.

Godlike event guys! Those matches were intense and super fun to watch! This was, combined with the RebelUp 30 men tournament, a great weekend for SG! Keep up the good work guys! o/

And good shit to my nigga @Lethalmind and @Pikmario for an exciting match! I was rooting for my boy Lethal, shoutouts to tournament drops, when we play you don't miss those... ¬¬' LOL!

So yea, I'm pretty beat, got my as handed to me by many ppl, but it was a lot of fun. Now if only I can actually up my game.
