GGs to everyone I played. As always I'm disgusted with my drops but I'll review the tape and work on getting better.

Special Thanks to everyone who showed up from out of state to make this as hype an event as possible.
Feel really bad for @mcpeanuts and that unfortunate parking mixup. Thanks for showing up though man. I'd love to bring NY to your monthly some time.

Good games to everyone I played, sorry I was hella salty and bitchy today. I'm just a moody teenage girl (who happens to be a 21 year old guy) who has trouble accepting that no matter how much time I spend in KoF, I WILL get bodied by everyone.

Shoutouts to TOs putting me versus @mcpeanuts as our first match! That was some bullshit since we're the same region and I play him every week/every monthly and have probably be him 50 times less than he's beat me :D It was well organized otherwise though.

Also, shoutouts to @WarpedEcho and Peanuts for commentary (and for letting me have a shot at it)

The next TSB Saturday is April 12th, so if we can get the usual people (8 minimum), we'll have some space there.

I only hope that this turnout is a good indicator of how things are gonna be down the road. I had my fair share of salt with you guys, but after setting that aside, I realize that you guys are fucking awesome, and I'd be glad to see you guys again... Especially @Broseidon Rex with his Salty Umbrella mask.


PS. Fuck you Peanuts, you Peacock-using scrub.

If you're playing on an original wired 360 controller my converter doesn't work for it properly with sg. Up left, up right, down back, and down forward don't work on the analog stick.

I spoke to Dai, and apparently a majority of the TSB playerbase is going to CV, and Arturo won't even be streaming. However, it's also St1ckbug's birthday, so I guess Dai chose that date accordingly. If we can step up and still show decent numbers, both at TSB and Civil War, then awesome. Even better if we can somehow help set a stream up for TSB.

But if a bunch of y'all are going to CV, then Dai understands; we can always try for May.

It was 8 hours of driving in total for me, and i already go to every weekly/monthly in my area. It was a lot of fun, but if you don't see me at the next Next Level SG tournament, don't be surprised :p

When it comes to situations like this, sometimes it's simply better to focus and be patient. It's a matter of perception, so if you had to choose, would you rather everyone know ahead of time that SG will be taking the date off, or would you rather they know there's going to be a SG tournament, and then nobody shows up?

What I'm saying is, if they know it's gonna be a ghost town, maybe don't push that day to be a big skull day.

I was actually just about to post about what I said earlier. I misunderstood Dai when he told me that a majority of the playerbase wasn't going. He meant that they weren't going to Civil War. With that in mind, I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Whoever's not going to Civil War is more than welcome to come to TSB. This reinforces the goal of good numbers on multiple fronts. TSB will not be a ghost town in April.

really sad about the belt parkway pothole repairs making it so i got there 30 minutes after it started so i couldnt play. still, haven't seen that many people there on an anime day in a long time (or ever) so good stuff on coming through yall

If there's another one with a lot of guaranteed people I'll be willing to go. I know that sounds hypocritical, but it really *was* a long trip for one day, and I'm not willing to stay over night for something like this. It'd have a few more hours away to make any sort of hotel costs or whatever feel justified (and discomfort costs since I HATE not sleeping in my own bed.)

Honestly, I wonder if I'm anywhere near ready to actually compete at any level that can justify a long trip like that. I mean, if I were any good, sure, but I get bodied left and right. This is all just self-loathing and me crying in a corner at my own inadequacies, but yea I'd be willing to give it a shot and make a mini-road trip out of a weekend.

Yeah, doing well/making Top 8 would be nice. Despite my ass getting handed to me, I enjoyed myself... Especially since the SG crowd doesn't exhibit typical FGC behavior (for the most part). No excessive shit talk, and no broken sticks, either :D

They're always Saturdays, our next one is April 5th, but it doesn't look like we'll have too many attendants for Skullgilrs at this one, so I wouldn't suggest going to it. At most we've had 12 people show up, it's usually around 5-8 people though

Had a good time at this tournament, thanks to @DaiAndOh for running it and everyone for showing up to support Skullgirls :-) GGs to everyone I played, shout outs to my bro @WarpedEcho it was fun hanging out with you over the weekend and I thought you did a great job on commentary especially considering you hadn't done it before.

PAX East is the same weekend as the next one of these so I unfortunately can't make that but if there's another one in like May or something I will def be there

Sorry for calling @Lethalmind Killjoy like 4 times on stream haha, I don't know what got into me considering I called you by the right handle initially. ggs to everyone I played. Except @ShadeMoneh , that guy sucks :J I'll try my best to make it out to the next one too, not sure though since ECT is coming up as well. I don't think I've been caught by steamroller SoID more than I have this weekend.

It is impossible to not say some stupid shit on stream at least a few times when doing commentary. I didn't notice Sage was using his bullshit Excellabella team until a full game happened, for example.
