Marvel vs Capcom Infinite

Still though, I am hoping that we can keep Wesker, we gotta give D.C. Douglas more work, dang.
That's why I hope RE4/RE 2 is gonna be represented, because Wesker was in RE 4 (Briefly), but had a pretty sexy turtleneck design
 
if Nu-Metal Wesker (aka Jake) gets in I'm gonna throw a house at capcom

just keep Troy Baker as Nova and that's all he needs
 
I'd like to point out that Jack Baker references MvC2 in RE7.

He literally says "I'm gonna take you for a ride."
 
Man, though, if Jack Baker was in MVCI, I can already see his Supers
Level 1 - Weapon Swap to Chainsaw
Level 2 - I'M Driving! - Gets in a car and starts doing Death Donuts in an AOE, hits multiple times
Level 3 - Cinematic Super, all members of the Baker Family appear and do a beatdown on the opponent hit
Command Grab - Welcome to the Family, Son

Fair enough, I just was trying to think about possessed characters in fighting games, the options are sorta limited

after watching my girlfriend play resident evil 7 I reaaaaallllyyyyy want Mia... and I do not want jack baker at all but he could possibly make it and that creeps me out.

Obviously the new RE character should be Clancy Javis. Guy's a badass (and unlike Ethan we've actually seen his face).

Spider-Gwen, i can agree on having a chance on seeing.

Asura, not so sure. His game was okay, but i don't think he has enough of a following for Capcom to feel it worth shoving him in.

But who knows they could prove me wrong. Make Asura a powerhouse character where all of his supers are buffing supers that makes him more powerful for a limited period of time. And that you have to be in a buffed up state to move onto the next lvl super. Just like in the game where Asura would power up more and more as his rage grew.

Our old Leaker pal Ryce has said that there was a big MVCI press event over in Germany.
The embargo for news will lift at the end of the week, so hopefully this is true.
I'm starving for information.

According to Neogaf, the characters were already leaked, I don't know the full extent since you guys know I hate leaks, but I saw Chun-Li
Hope that's not true, so tired of that bland kick tart taking slots from much better and exciting SF characters
 
Chun's a perfect attendee. She is required whether you like it or not.
 
there's three guaranteed SF characters and it's Ryu, Chun, and Akuma

literally only one of these characters is vaguely interesting and it's UMvC3 Ryu
 
That's like saying we need Sentinel because he's been in a lot of games.
It's flimsy reasoning and if Sentinel is in this game too I'm gonna be upset, but mercifully, without Seth Killian pushing him, his chances are low.

We might get an SFV Character, at the least, and the question is Necalli or Rashid
 
I'd be fine with either or. Necalli and Rashid are both cool beans. I think Rashid would work better in a VS game though. Lots of movement options.
 
I think both would fit into the style of a Crossover game, so it's up to Captain

When it comes to Marvel characters though, I'm fairly certain movie deals will account for some of the character choices
Ultron, for certain
Black Panther, most likely
Fuck, I bet we'll get the Winter Soldier as a hard zoner for The Marvel side at this rate
 
winter soldier is a definite probability

we're def getting Black Panther though, especially since Wolverine is ded
 
I mean I wouldn't mind Winter Soldier, makes a hell of an entrance/first impression in Captain America 2.
I just hope the films won't be the sole deciding factor for characters in Infinite, I mean, MVC 3 had Dormammu, Super Skrull, and Modok, a lot of those were unpopular or relatively unknown, a few characters that are obscure would shake things up a bit.
 
i honestly care more about the Capcom side of things at this point because it'll turn out one of two ways

I recall the Monster Hunter creators didn't want any MH in MVC3, wonder if their opinions changed

Actually looking forward to see the Capcom side more, i don't know that much about Marvel and tbh from what i've heard it'll be mainly MCU inspired right?

roster and button configuration weren't even finalized when they showed us the first trailer and that was 5 months ago

anything can be possible now
 
Like I said, I think a lot of this will be movie decided, but if the leaks are to be beleived, we might get some characters that haven't even been animated yet (Gwenpool, Ms. marvel, etc), those were proven fake but Ms. Marvel would be a great decision

Jesus was it that Early in development? Maybe they could get Jack in there between then and now, especially since communication between Marvel and Capcom won't take weeks like last time.

As for capcom reps I want...
Asura, Edward Falcon, Leon S Kennedy, Jack Baker, Lost Planet rep, Monster Hunter rep... idk why not Dragon's Dogma too

Marvel reps:
Ms Marvel, Red Hulk, Carnage, Ultron, Silver Surfer and. Fuck. I dunno Blade

If anyone's curious, the characters that are supposedly getting revealed this week are:

Chun-Li, Chris Redfield, Strider Hiryu, Hawkeye, Hulk, Rocket Raccoon, Thor, and Ultron.

If we're doing wishlists now then the complete newcomers I want most are:

Capcom: Asura, Gene, Falcon, Date Masamune, and maybe Nero or Regina depending on the rest of the roster

Marvel: Squirrel Girl, Blade, Antman, Ms. Marvel (Kamela), Jubilee, Namor

eh... so the leak is saying no-one really special or new is coming to the roster just yet.

Ultron to me is like... suuuuuuuuuuuper boring as a villain/character. and that's coming off from the movie version. his comic book version is even more bland. So i hope to god he's a cool summon/resource character or else it's gonna be a wasted slot for the roster.
