13 ladies of Ultimate's 50 is 26% of the roster while this would be ~14% so yeah it's pretty fucking pathetic considering Ultimate even added 12 new characters and not a single one of them was a lady

Tbh I don't think I'll be buying this game, from a combination of not trusting Capcom or Marvel and other things just makes me so meh on it
 
I'm someone who's far more worried about gameplay when it comes to a fighting game roster, but Ruin is right, "incredibly pathetic" is a pretty accurate description.

Better pay up for that season pass and hope four women drop in. (Because if you have any sense or taste you're hoping five is Gene.)

i mean most of them were mutants but She-Hulk nooooooo

I was being sarcastic. Announcing a season pass like a year out from release and the poster boy is a main character from the story is pretty shit, this would have to be a surprisingly great game for me to think buying the DLC would in any way be a good idea.

The fact that getting more upset that a ton got dropped than some being added is worse.

considering how 2017's gone for Kamiya already, I wouldn't be surprised if they used the wrong dante on top of assassinating Joe and Ammy
 
As great as Joe is I'd rather Gene/Ammy be our Clover pair.
 
I think the starting roster is fine.
 
I mean it's alright, but it could've been way better.
It just feels so so so so so so so so so so so so safe.
That's why a lot of people are mad. There's no outlandish crazy choices, which is kind of what the fun of MVC 3 was.
No one would've thought they would've gone with MODOK, or even Amaterasu due to how that game performed.
Yet here we are, with the absolute safest choices imaginable.
 
I need Felicia, Tron Bonne, and Ammy... and for Hsienko to not suck.

22.99 is actually a banger deal

when you compare it to the 30$ SFV season 2 pass

Does the season pass come with costumes/colors? I'm not arguing that they're worth the additional $7, just asking if it is in fact the same amount of content. Also they didn't put a main character in the season 2 pass. I guess SFV didn't even have a story at release though. Whatever.

Yes it comes with 1 costume for all characters and 10 colors for that costume (typically you'd have to unlock colors via survival or buy them with FM)
 
If there were such thing as Guilty Gear X Capcom, Ryu would not be invited, and Sigma would be the final boss.

Yeah someone somewhere else brought up "this SFV leak" earlier. I don't trust it as far as I can throw it.
 
Riku just repeats other leaks and claims them as his own
he's super unreliable/a fraud, but there's other, more reliable people backing up the SFV part of this one in particular
 
Riku is way more prominent on the Gamefaqs board since it's where he started posting the leaks until the mods got fed up with him, he's been eXpOsEd multiple times as a fraud even by Ryce I believe.

So are we just back to xTekken? Are they going to ship Sigma, Panther and the rest on the disc? I fail to see why else we're doing it like this.
