idk how to feel about that.

personally I felt like this whole thing was going to turn out to be a fake but now that i'm wrong...

i don't feel... hyped about this. Chalk it up to being burned by MvC3...
 
I mean, Marvel VS Capcom 4 still doesn't exist, technically.
 
I'm really not feeling too good about this game. I'm going to wait to judge the game itself, but so far I see no reason to get excited.

UMVC3 Is now downloadable with all DLC for PS4, XBONE, and PC.

I'm quite interested in the story, actually, that bad guy looks like a fusion of Marvel & Capcom villains like fuckin' Dark Khan
I REALLY hope they have a lot of interesting interactions.
You know, like what the cinematic trailers for MVC promised but never delivered on.
 
Yeah an original baddy like that dude at the end of MVC2 would be really cool

Another hour till Capcom Cup, then we get gameplay.

Anyway, for the Capcom side, I really want Frank and Dante back. And I highly doubt it, but Tessa from Red Earth would be fucking amazing.

Marvel side? Other than Star Lord, I don't really care.

I'd also love to see the return of Dan. Dan is love. Dan is life. Mecha-Zangief would also be great.

I also really hope them ditching the X-Men/Doom doesn't last. Though, given the "Infinite" in the title, I could see them releasing lots of DLC packs. I'd also love to see Cable come back, he was fun. Gambit and Rogue are just pure Nineties coolness, would love to see them return.

Come to think of it, if we're doing Infinity Gems, why not bring back Thanos? He was in MVC2.
 
I'd be happy if this game took SFV's route of continuous content released after launch with in-game currency.

If this is indeed MCU based, given that the Infinity Waris the next giant ass event in the MCU, it's very likely Thanos is under heavy consideration

Always rooting for my guy Phoenix Wright (And honestly he's had so many new games recently I wouldn't be surprised)

Edit: Oh, also the thought occurred to me. How would you guys feel if even 1 of the original capcom characters from like MVC2 came back because they were getting their own game in the future? Kind of like how some marvel characters are going to be in for movies coming up.

I don't know. I still feel very neutral about this game. Maybe once there is more to go on. Looks very tame for a Marvel Vs game though.
 
A lot of these choices stem from, say it with me now, attempting to appeal to casual players. Or rather, trying to make getting into the game less daunting than previous entries. Meh.
