USA [May 10, 2014] East Coast Throwdown 6 (Secaucus, NJ)

1. White Castle is good going down, but oh man give it about 2 hours and you are gonna pay for it royally, and by royally I mean you're gonna be spraying liquid out of your ass.

2. I live 10 mins from ECT and I'd be willing to let you guys stay at my place, but my place is a crappy little studio apt with no room for anybody beyond me. I'm moving to a bigger place next month but as of now, yea, it would be really cramp.

This. Sorta. Doesn't have to be liquid. Just know that whatever happens after, be prepared to feel 10 lbs lighter.

Curious as to whether or not I can get a fat sandwich (from that one place forget the name whatever whogivesafuck) delivered to the venue. That Fellatio was.....delightful.

Wait, if you aren't playing in an official tournament, does that mean you don't have to pay?

You still need to pay to enter side tournys (Skullgirls will be $10 prob) Side tournys just arnt on the website.
And obviously you need to pay for registration.
 
OKAY, the EC WC 5v5 Qual will be going down Saturday Night. Where? Probably a hotel room. We'll figure it out but it'll be happening SATURDAY NIGHT.

It'll be round robin. The only requirement on entering is that you have to be pretty sure/positive you will be attending EVO 2014. If you aren't going and know you aren't. You cannot enter.

Just to get an idea on how many people are interested. I'll have a list in my head...

I'm not going to EVO so I'm out (like I'd be good enough to play 5v5 EVO tourney anyway)

Also since i'll be there now I'll be able to do the bracket and run it with the beautiful help of my man @Master Chibi. So, you guys still wanna do the tournament Saturday and than top 8 Sunday? Also, what time is BB? A lot of you guys seem to be playing that, so i'll be sure to make it as different of a time as possible. Just let me know what you guys want to do.

Don't think BB time has been announced yet. I know it starts on Sat.
And ya Saturday then top 8 Sunday still seems fine.
 
I'd personally prefer just hanging out all day saturday and playing in tournament on sunday.

When: Sunday, Noon.
Signups: 11:00AM to Noon.
Entry: $10
Bracket: Double Elim
PS3

Format:
PS3
-$10 Entry
-The split will be agreed on by ALL of top 3. However, as it stands it will be 70/20/10.
-Double Elimination
-2 out of 3 for every type of match (Size 1, 2, 3, etc)
-Losers Finals, Winners Finals, and Grand Finals will be 3 OUT OF 5

Bracket/Seeding:
The goal is to have 4 little mini quadrants in one decent sized double elimination bracket. With one guaranteed "killer" in each quadrant.

The following people will be seeded by skill, due to previous tournament results. (No Particular Order)

1. SonicFox5000
2. keninblack
3. Dekillsage
4. Blaise

Back up seeds:
Winnie
McPeanuts
OmniSScythe
ElkyDori


Everyone else will be seeded by region, the goal is to make it so a player from Maryland won't have to play his friend from Maryland. If both friends live in separate states, whatever happens happens, tough.

PUT DOWN WHAT STATE YOU'RE FROM WHEN YOU SIGN UP

I can't seed you by region if I don't know what region you're from. So write it down next to your name when you sign up.

If you have to play a "killer" in your area of the bracket early, sorry. Its double elimination for a reason, run it back in losers.

DQ's:
If I call your name a bunch of times and you aren't there, you're DQ'd simple. If you're in winners you go to losers, if you're in losers you go home. Now, of course I'm reasonable. If you need to go to the bathroom, take a phone call, grab food, fine. BUT, TELL ME WHERE YOU'RE GOING SO I CAN HOLD YOUR MATCH. If you tell me, I know not to DQ you and I won't... as long as you don't take an absurd amount of time. If you go to the bathroom for 10 minutes and you didn't tell me, and your match was up, chances are you got DQ'd, so be weary of that.
 
Make Lethal one of the backup seeds instead of Elky.

Also I don't know if we need to cut to top 8 on Sunday for a 16 man tournament (currently the number of people who RSVP'd). I'd prefer to run this all in one day (ideally Saturday, then it doesn't matter if I'm hung over on Sunday).
 
I mean all 4 of the people will be attending so idk man Lethals in there too fuck it.

It will be Sunday only, we don't have any space Sat
