edit: This doesn't matter anymore now that she can just combo off throw with Ringlet Spire, but whatever. This is still cool.

First and foremost, I'd like to apologize in advance if I do anything wrong while making this, as I've never posted on a forum before. Now that that's out of the way, I don't know if anyone actually has meterless midscreen combos off of ground throw with Filia because I've never seen it before aside from off of air throw because I haven't gotten to watch as much recent high level Skullgirls as I wish I could due to being busy, but if anyone does, well, then here's another.

The quality isn't great, because my computer can't run Skullgirls and I don't have anything to record from my PS3 with, but it'll have to do. You have to use forward(MK) Hairball and forward Hornet Bomber assist for this to work, and obviously you have to do low fierce into Hairball if you don't get them to the corner like I did in the video. I haven't tested it on everyone, but it works on Filia, Parasoul, Cerebella and Ms. Fortune. I can't get it to work on Valentine as Bomber completely whiffs no matter what timing I try - maybe someone else can figure out something - and it works a little on Double, but she hits the ground too quickly to combo into to the airdash jump strong. You can dash up and land a stand forward after the Hornet Bomber, but stand fierce will whiff, so the best I can get is st.fw>cr.fr>rh.Hairball, but I haven't actually experimented with it to see if I can get anything better off of it. The stand forward is at least enough to get a reset on her, which was my intention when looking for this stuff anyways, but I'll mess around with it to see if I can get anything better on her.

edit: I've done more testing, and I can't get it to work on Peacock, Valentine, Eliza or Squigly. It works on everyone else, however, though I haven't done enough testing to see how to do a better followup on Double. Big Band is a bit special, however. Two hits of Hornet Bomber will hit on him, meaning you'll have to shorten the combo a bit if you decide to finish it instead of reset. The timing does feel a bit tighter on him, however. I'll screw around with the timing on Peacock and the others to see if I can get it to work, but as it stands now, I can't get it to work on them.

Boy I wish more people had this kind of mindset before they hit the post button.

That said this is pretty cool! I haven't seen this done with a practical assist before, and even if it's character/spacing dependent it should still be helpful for Filia players who use Hornet Bomber.

I couldn't begin to count how many people I've seen be told how they put their post in the wrong place or how there's a specific thread to talk about what they did in their post, so they should have went there instead of making a new post, among other things. So I felt it was necessary to apologize if I somehow screwed up and did something wrong, because I didn't want to be another one of those posts. I'd hate to waste someone's time to tell me why I messed up when I could have easily prevented it myself.

That being said, it's not at all spacing dependent! Character dependent, unfortunately - not like she needed this anyways - but you can do this just as easily if you're in the corner as you can anywhere else on the stage. All that matters is you can't do the ender that I did in the video midscreen.

Shaky. Y. Don't make Mike nerf my daddy's character more. He's already making her solo Valentine tier.

We'll just have to do everything in our power to make sure Mike doesn't ever see this then!

You know what, I've never thought of doing something like that *Facepalm*

I'll have to try this out with my team...if I find anything interesting I'll post my findings.

So since this is a thread I don't have to make one so here's what I have right now for meter less conversions.
MUST HAVE CILIA SLIDE ASSIST:
Throw, call assist (cilia slide), ringlet spike(hp for light and mp for heavy), dash forward, s.lk, s.hp, j.hk, adc, j.lk, j.mp, j.hk (restand),s.mk,s.hp,xx,j.lk, j.mp,j.mk, H airball, adc, s.lp(2), s.lk, s.mp, cr.mk, cr.hp, H hairball, Fenerir (have not been able to get this to work yet so I have no idea how much damage this does but I know it works the chain is quite difficult though -_-)

Awesome! Never really experimented around with Cilia Slide - might have to - but this is good to know. Especially because if the Hornet Bomber change goes through, my combo probably won't work anymore. And it reminded me I have another I found to post, so I gotta get off my lazy butt and go record and upload that real quick.

Okay, so here's another way to combo Filia's throw meterlessly! No Double this time, but the good news is, I'm PRETTY SURE this works on everybody. The assist is Eliza's Throne of Isis, and I can't be bothered to write the combo notation right now. It's the combo Duck does. You all should know it by now.

Sorry for how shaky the camera is. My fingers aren't the only shaky part of me, my hands do quite a bit as well.

edit: If people don't know about them, I have two more that work with fierce Tear Shot with Parasoul and an uncharged Silver Chord with Squigly, so I can record those if people care enough to see it/actually use those assists for some reason.
