My thoughts on 2nd Encore for PC [Not purposely directed to Mike Z]

Would you pay for 2nd Encore as paid DLC for PC?

Sup guys...it's me Nuuance. I've played this game a LONG time & many times. I know theres more behind the scenes & other factors involving the pc release of 2nd encore, but business-wise it makes complete sense. Sooooo i hear they're thinking about mking this DLC.

If sony Autumn (my bad) are being idiots....then so be it, but lab zero/whoever, please fight as hard as you can to put it on pc. I ALREADY have scripts ready & ideas ready for new vids off the heels of 2nd encore/finished sg product & I wanna get more people in this community & more important i just love sg & want to make a video about it that people will watch...not just a lets play ;) (love you guys too).

The PC community has been (as many of you know) super huge & it'd be almost criminal if we didn't get a chance at it. I understand business is business so I won't go off on a random rant, but I just wanna say if this was paid dlc....or like a new game or something...i don't care...I WILL BUY IT. And i think the community would agree with me on that one :) Anyways, love you guys & hopefully Lab zero/whoever can convey the good business in the pc version (additional press for Autumn's console versions because youtube > people see it on steam who dont have pcs > they'll wanna buy it > & vice-versa)

Well...until then...lets get it!

Yes I would pay money. I would love the opportunity to show support for a game I've played since vanilla launch and I truly enjoy.

This. Even with the crazy amount of money I've already put towards this game.
 
It could be useful in talks with publishers. They have to talk things out with Autumn and Marvelous.

I don't have a Vita or a PS4 (yet) but I still intend on buying 2nd Encore. And then when/if it comes to PC I'll happily buy it again. Hopefully that physical copy deal will still be a thing. Otherwise I'm not sure how one buys a PS4 game without a PS4.

What does Sony have to do with anything?

Do you just not read what Lab Zero says and make assumptions to get worked up over? One of the nicest things about Skullheart is we can actually talk to Peter, Render, Mike, etc. Why ignore that fact?

And they know most of us would gladly buy the DLC, they expressed that they want to release it, it's up to Autumn.

I agree with you but I think it's not bad to still have a thread to check interest; maybe not exactly useful at this point but still something. You know, in case da Lab needs something to show Autumn

And yes I'd buy the DLC

I'm not denigrating the existence of the thread, just kind of baffled about certain statements. If there is any chance Autumn can to be shown there is an actual interest in the DLC, by all means, have a thread saying "Yes, we will buy this", for any possibility that it will help.

Hell, I'm buying 2E because I want a Vita version and the new content, if there is a physical PS4 release I'm buying that as well and I would still gladly buy the DLC for convenience, I prefer playing on my computer.

Though I will say the lack of a no option on the poll is kind of weird.

It will probably happen eventually, but unlikely day one to match the PS4/Vita release because obviously the party funding the 2nd Encore stuff wants the "exclusive" incentives to aggressively push PS4/Vita software copy sales just like how the "exclusive" PC incentives [gallery, lobbies, replay, etc] initially helped push their software sales.
 
I really REALLY wanna buy 2nd Encore but for me I'td have to be the possible PC version. No plans or funds to buy a vita or ps4 ever.

Though I could buy it for a friend who DOES have a vita.
 
chances are if it is available for PC there will be a bit of PS4 exclusivity, eh I wouldnt get it right away

It wouldn't be a separate game, that's more difficult for us and for you.

Not knowing the costs Lab Zero will have with the release, it's hard to say a fair price for the expansion...

As long as it isn't more expensive than the game+all dlc characters, i'll buy it day one

Would there be ps4 and vita exclusivity? And if so for how long would it be?
 
Our exclusivity contract with Sony does not cover PC in any way, shape or form - Sony is smart and knows that would be a dealbreaker for pretty much all devs.

The only reason there is any question at all is because everything PC has to go through Marvelous, who are the PC publishers. So it's not entirely up to Lab Zero and Autumn.

And I'm 99% sure this will happen, BTW - I just can't say it's actually happening until contracts are signed, etc.

There may be some short exclusivity period, just so the PS4 version can breathe a bit. Autumn doesn't have much money, and these ports cost a couple hundred grand, so the priority is on recouping those investments.

There's also another factor I can't talk about yet, but please know that I'm pushing to get it out on PC as soon as it makes sense for all stakeholders.

I'm a big MK fan since my childhood and to be honest with you, at first I dislike Skullgirls. I've tried it for 15 minutes when it's been free-to-play on Steam. Then I saw more and more competitive SG matches and I'm starting to feel curious. Then I've bought a copy of the game for myself and played it for 40 mins or so. Wow! Such a fun game! I've thought. And then I've bought all the DLCs, a copy for my nephew (with all DLCs as well) and 3 copies for my friends. I love MK with passion but I like SG too. The game is awesome! The only thing I miss in my Steam version is voices in story mode. Recently I saw PS4 version of Skullgirls on Youtube and that's it! I want it too but... PS4 is too expensive. So, please port back all the PS4 features back to PC (I personally play Linux version of the game). I will definitely buy a game again or a DLC or whatever! For myself, my nephew and probably for some of my friends. Thank you in advance and sorry for my bad English.

We're going to do that. I was supposed to have time during this month, but the Vita version is taking SO LONG that I may not... :^S

thx for info , was afraid its dead after the long silence about it on twitter , but i guess the indivisible campaign and than PSV version were priorities
 
PS4/Vita JP versions are still .... not .... done, but yes. I want to do this as soon as they are, it's not hard. >.<

Yes'm, but the person helping me with JP PS4/Vita since the beginning of December is the person who was supposed to be doing those. So he's starting hella late.

Aw, you guys are still working? I thought it was layzee dayzees for mike zeezy until Indivisible.
