Need help on main menu

Whenever I launch Skullgirls, this always appears on the main menu and it's always windowed. The only thing I can do is move Keyboard 1 to Player 1 or Player 2, and when I press Z or A on Player 1 this disappears, but I can't move through the main menu. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Just going by that screenshot, have you tried to disable Vjoy?

Yesterday, I realized the problem was I didn't have Vjoy installed.
