Horror Nights is really expensive! Do we go for an awesome backup plan?

I would but i get there friday night, looking back i should have booked thursday but the tourney was only sat/sun so i didn't know if anyone else was going thursday-sunday.

Oh, also, calling the poll. Who wants to do a beach trip on Friday? I can trade cars for the weekend so I'll have a van that can carry up to 7 chucklefucks including myself and my houseguest(s). That should leave room for at least 3-4 more.

Also BL what are some decent beaches around orlando?

Cocoa, Daytona, Playalinda. Cocoa doesn't have the softest sand or the coolest skyline but I can get there in like 25 minutes from Socks' house and nearly all parking is free. Daytona is one of the most renowned beaches in the country but it's a bit of a longer drive. Playalinda is pretty and not too crowded (and closer than Daytona), but it's a state park so it's 5 bucks per car and closes at 6pm.

Temperatures are looking to be a little higher next week (it's been hovering between 70 and 80 all week here), but are supposed to be possibly 2-3 couple degrees warmer in general. This means that it's possible we could all chug over to a beach in the middle of the night and it'd be something like 73 outside at the coldest, wind not included. Then there's always games at my place if weather doesn't behave.

Im down to go to Playalinda or Cocoa if you want. I dont want to go super far incase someone shows up at the airport or shows up and wants to meet you know?

This just in: Playalinda's off the table. I'm gonna be busy on Friday during the day. Cocoa at night is totally a thing, though. Also yeah, all beaches get kinda windy at night.

It's not just laser tag, actually. It's Whirlydome. So they're open till midnight, they have a shitty arcade, there's laser tag, and there's also the main event-- bumper car dodgeball hockey. As in, dodgeball while driving bumper cars in 2 teams trying to score goals on each other in a roller hockey arena.

Walking distance? Pointe Orlando has a theater, but it's like a mile away which might be too much for wimpier members of the community.

Jebailey posted a preliminary schedule. I don't know if it's population-based or not, but I'm actually totally cool with it. I'd rather get primetime on Saturday than morning Top 8 on Sunday. What this also means is that people who don't want to watch Melty/P4U2/Under-Night/Blaz/Xrd have Sunday completely off! So... yeah, we could totally just say "fuck the tournament" and do a beach trip during the day.

But i wanna watch Melty/P4U2/Under-Night/Blaz/Xrd .... but then that those will be streamed and archive but then you go to an anime video game tournament and don't watch the tournament... I wish i could do 2 things at once. Actually Blaz and Xrd are me least interested so there's that.

A mile walk is nothing, depending on tempreture that is.
 
Question: Anyone have any idea who's going to be on commentary for SG?
 
Me, Keninblack, and Peanuts will be there, all of whom are well-experienced in doing SG commentary. If POS or any furry gods decide to show up then we can have a full rotation during Top 8.

Personally I don't need to see the top 8s of any of those games so my vote is for beach trip.
