Official Animal Crossing: New Leaf Thread

By unoriginal I mean has anybody done it yet? Is it a very common town name?
I like Maplecrest because it's a nice sounding name that's also a very obscure reference to one of my favorite games. Hopefully It's not a commonly used and blatant reference like Hyrule.

Maplecrest actually sounds very fitting for an animal crossing village. It's better than my village's name though, which is Gensokyo. By the way what villagers did you guys get?

Calling all animal crossing buddies! I just got Gracie in my town and I have no possible way to win her gracie check because I don't have a single garment of modern clothing. Should any of you be willing to let me borrow modern clothing, I'll pay you in lots of bells and/or items that you need that I have.

Oh boy am I really late to the party so I was hoping to get some new people to hang out with
 
Bummer man. Almost a year late haha. I don't even play anymore :( And I'm afraid to.
 
Make a Wii U game so we can get back into the swing of things together goddammit
 
A new Wii U game would be nice I was hoping that would have gotten announced instead of happy home designer
 
That was probably my biggest disappointment of E3, the fact that no new AC game was announced, and all we get are a few minigames that rub salt in the wounds.
I would actually prefer if the next game is on the New 3DS, because I think a handheld fits the series much better. The real-time clock works much better on a portable device, where you can access the game at any time a lot more conveniently.
That's a big reason why I disliked City Folk so much, coming from Wild World. Among other things.

exactly tbh. And city folk seemed much more...well it tried to be bigger but it ended up being much more of a mess, I kinda prefer how much more compact New Leaf was.
 
After a data transfer incident I lost my entire years worth of save data I've tried to get back into the game but the drive to make my town better like my old one is gone now. Shame too because I got my favorite villager Lucky in the new town.
