I don't think they did announce a date.
 
There were stirrings that season 2 was going to consist somewhat of a "made for anime" arc. Maybe they're going to include the current manga arc into it, considering how much it has deviated from the original webcomic, and thus we won't hear anything about it until this arc's conclusion. Just a hunch though.
 
Watchdogman vs Garou next chapter. Get hyped.
