Why is Parasoul's j.LP so good?

Because she's the only character in the game with no real air mobility (Doublejump, Airdash, Fly), so her buttons need to make up for it.

I unfortunately can't get one whiffing also is super tracks(?) until the shot is out

Just use it on Peacock while she's teleporting so the attack will just hit the air.

I mean the move tracks onto the physical location of the enemy's point character so the hitbox itself doesn't really do much anything except when it comes to snagging an assist as well. There used to be some cases where the physical bounds of the character were far enough from their hitbox that the move would whiff but Mike's since extended the size of the attack's hurtbox so there shouldn't be any whiffs unless the opponent is in a hit-invuln state.

Float isn't really good offensively like other mobility tools can be. The Float would be nigh useless for her if she didn't have large buttons to cover distance.
