I'm looking for beginners who want to learn the game together. I have limited experience with Guilty Gear. I'm just learning the game. My Psn ID is "op8wm1980" if anyone would like to learn the game with me. I play the PS3 version of the game, and I live in the eastern time zone.

I've been meaning to get into P4A. I played the demo of it a while back and it was pretty good. If I can get my hands on a good internet connection with the Ethernet I could try it to take on some matches.

I dont have Xrd, and plus R has terrible netcode. So I don't play it all that much.

ok i just got this game on ps3 even though i was skeptical as fuck. so far liking minazuki a lot so i think i'm ready to give this game a real chance. it kinda seems like the people from the old persona thread didn't really migrate over here though lol

Even I myself kinda fell headfirst into it trying to find the Persona thread

Anyway New Year's Day Shadow Burst Midscreen S.Rise Cambo for youse guyz (3.4-3.5 damage):

st.A -> Additional A -> st.B -> Sweep -> Shadow Burst -> cr.B(1 hit) -> st.C(1 hit) -> No Touching B -> cr.B -> st.C(2 hits) -> Arrow Rain SB -> Platinum Disc SB -> Risette Field SB -> Hysterical Slap SB

Notes:
-Yes, this is baby's first SB combo as really one should be at least breaking 4K but it's something to start with at least
-Canceling Platinum Disc SB into Risette Field SB into Slap SB isn't the hard part as the second part of Arrow Rain SB should give you the extra hitstun you need to make it all connect. Don't wait too long to go into Slap SB as they can fall out (cancel into it while the disc hasn't come back to you yet)

Bonus Scumbag Tech: Sweep into Arrow Rain A (1st Hit whiff) then doing the dance super will force them into jumping and blocking the Arrow Rain coming down or get danced on. This has about as much effectiveness as full screen st.D over and over with Adachi but it's funny when it hits (Adachi stuffs coming soon btw)

Still need to play the story mode.
Haven't played for months because I tried not to get burnt out on Visual Novels.
By now everyone's probably figured out the online
 
I haven't been online much; I kept playing Blazblue to much, and while I love my Slabrys, I keep getting knocked over by muscle memory due to a change between 2 moves. (the flaming horn anti air and the disappear reappear uppercut from Asterius)

I haven't played online yet, but I've been playing Score Attack a bunch. I'm actually halfway to unlocking Yu's navigator.

I haven't found a character that really sticks with me quite yet, I only got the game back at Christmas.
 
I've been playing more GGXrd lately but I still play matches online occasionally with a friend as Ken. I know in the last thread, we decided on one night to play together in a lobby (it only happened once). Would anyone be interested in that again? I'm up for it. I was actually considering having a SH mini tourney at one point and streaming it but, once again, I'm not sure if there is interest.

Even though I've been playing Xrd non stop I can take a break to enjoy some Persona.
 
I also just got the game for Christmas and I haven't played online yet since I don't have Xbox Live Gold. I sold the first P4A and a few other old games to get it.
 
This has been the game I've been playing the most since I got it a little over a few months ago (weekends only).
GameFAQs has been fun for the social aspect & Dustloop has had tons of great info on combos, videos, people to play, etc.

Though it's not perfect, I really enjoy the story, characters, art, music, gameplay, etc.
Couldn't even win the first fight on risky s.attack, and really wanted some navigators, so I broke down & bought the 6-pack.

I've hosted player rooms, so if no one else wants to host one this weekend, let me know if I can. (I'm w.coast U.S.)
Been maining/subbing Ted, Labrys & Kanji, but am not an expert.
I'll send out some invites & feel free to invite me.
 
No one in the topic responded to invites I sent out last weekend, but I know schedules can vary. Plus GGXrd is taking up some people's time, including me. Got some good matches in last weekend & improved my Kanji.

New approach, if anyone's interested. I can host a Skullheart P4AU room this Sun. at 1PM Pacific Time Zone.
Unless someone else wants to host & has a better day/time. That way we have some idea of when to try this.

Does anybody else think that a new character or two will appear when 2.0 releases on the 15th? There would be precedent for something along those lines occurring, as Sho wasn't in any of the P4U2 1.0 loketests, but he was playable on arcade launch.
 
If anyone were to show up, it's likely that it'd be Theodore. He appeared a lot in the story mode, even more than Marie.
 
They have a few more characters they could potentially put in, but not sure.
 
I want Minato because screw canon.

I bet that if there is a new character in 2.0, it'll be that "Mephistopheles" that was only mentioned in one of the announcer's lines in the Sound Test for Ultimax.
 
I'd like to join in for Ultimax but I have no idea how busy I'll be this weekend since I'm helping a family member move.

If they do add anyone else, my guesses would be Theo or Metis. Although it would be really awesome to have Rei and Zen in.

Not happening. All of ASW's DLC and additional characters have come to the arcades at some point (except for Elphelt, Sin, and Leo, but Xrd's too new to have the console characters ported right now).
 
Which arrived in the arcades first.
 
Cool, glad my post got the topic going again. Yeah, looking forward to (most of?) 2.0.
In the meantime, I'll try inviting people here Sat. & Sun. to a PS3 player room if anyone's still playing this game.
