Hello everybody! This is sweetappleangel from the Salty Cupcakes stream chats (you know that one user who bothers Lab Zero all the time what a weirdo), but you can call me Kelsey. It's weird having to start from scratch concerning my fan art thread but oh well, sometimes a new start isn't a bad thing.

I figured I'd start my new art thread with a recent doodle page I did of Big Band back when he was Ben Birdland, or what he might have looked like:

I'm going to try to be more active on here and also take requests if anyone is interested (as long as they don't violate any of the website's or Lab Zero's regulations). It's nice to meet everyone and I'm happy to see Skull Heart back on its feet!

EDIT 4/24: It's been a while everyone! I thought that since I'm offering requests for this thread it'd be fair to put up a guideline for anyone asking for them:

GUIDELINES FOR SKETCH REQUESTS​

• Requests will be either traditional or digital sketches. Please do not ask for anything really detailed or in depth. I do offer art commissions, but you will have to contact me personally for more information about that.
• I will NOT draw anything pornographic or fetish art.
• I will NOT draw anything gory or explicitly violent. Blood is acceptable.
• I will NOT draw anything that bashes another character, or insults any specific person or group of people. Requesting a match between two characters is acceptable, as long as it doesn't violate any of these guidelines.
• I will NOT draw anything that violates Skull Heart's rules and guidelines.
• I have the right to refuse or ignore a request, especially if it violates any of these guidelines.
• I can draw you, or original/fan character, or a friend with your/their favorite character(s), just as long as it doesn't violate any of these guidelines. Also, please provide references.
• Please be patient with me if I do not draw your request immediately, as I am currently looking for work and I have freelance projects and a webcomic to work on as well. I will ignore your request if you continually message me about it or if you behave disrespectfully.

Hey everyone! I've been pretty swamped with some projects that last few days but I'm free for the moment thankfully. Here's some older Skullgirls doodles and artwork that I've done (the first one is a spoiler for Squigly's storymode so heads up):

I drew this doodle of Squigly back when she was still Sienna, wearing Leviathan like a little scarf. This may or may not have been some art therapy after watching her amazingly sad storymode.

This one came about when Berd and I were talking about the Japanese model kits of the characters and how Parasoul's sculpt made her breasts look like torpedos. And then Tank Soul happened.

And one more for the moment since this post is getting pretty big:

Humanized Samson doodle based on a sketch Alex Ahad did for Berd at a convention. I gave him a tattoo that says "Delilah".

I'll be posting more Skullgirls art in the future, and I'm still accepting requests for any one who's interested!

So I'll ask again: cerebella on drums, painwheel on guitar (a BC rich, preferably), parasoul on bass, and Eliza on vocals, all performing on stage dressed appropriately for a stoner rock show (grunge-ish).

This and this are decently close to that look, and you can listen to this while drawing to be in the right aural ZONE.

Hey everybody, I hope you guys have been alright. It's been a while and I'd like to apologize for leaving this thread empty for so long. I've been having having a hard time looking for work and have been working on my webcomic, and it's been up-and-down for me emotionally this year. I don't really know when things will be looking up, I'm hoping soon but we'll just have to see.

Back to art, I've done a few doodles recently. Here's an Aeon for Epic:

It's been way too long since I updated here!

To be honest I haven't drawn much Skullgirls fan art, but for Valentine's Day i did sketch a Valentine. While she's in lingerie, I'll put her in a spoiler tag just to keep it safe for the kids.

I do really like that concept art for Mr. Birdland, but the one qualm I have with it is if he was that large pre-band, he probably would have at least stood a fighting chance against the rest of his own corrupt troop. (Yeah, I know it's probably outdated, but still.)

Sketch requests? Well, I don't have visual references for my fan characters (Unless the text descriptions count), so...let's see, here...ah ha.
Fukua, rapidly decaying/falling apart and heavily injured, looking at the Skull Heart (Or maybe holding it in her hand?). I think that'd be a great drawing.

I'm pretty sure the strings probably have eased up over the years.

and it'd be easy to sip something if theres enough mouth space between strings.
