I doubt Grima-fied Robin, it would probably be just a major villain from Fire Emblem.
 
I'm just saying, the characters used are from Awakening and the stage used is from Awakening and the enemies used are from Awakening, so it's not impossible a rival unit (if present at all) won't be from Awakening, but it's still pretty likely 0:
 
Awakening villains are probably more likely, but it'd be far more entertaining to see the new characters tangle with some of the more fan favorite old villains. Get some new interactions going on instead of rehashing the same encounters.
 
Oh we got leaks!
Apparently screenshots of the Korean version leaked, or uh, something.
And we got 3 characters from that.

They are
Ryo Hazuki from Shenmue
Ingrid from Street Fighter Alpha
Estelle from Tales of Vesparia

All solo units, probably.
Roy's a bit up in the air, but Ingrid and Estelle are definitely solo units.
 
can't wait for people to sperg out over Ingrid getting in.

I know a guy who was actually considering not getting the game because Chrom and Lucina, but all is apparently forgiven with the arrival of Ingrid.

Ryu: "Um...."

I have a feeling that Lan Di will be in this game as well.

Also, I hope he uses the forklift in his special.

I've gotta admit, I'm worried for a lot of characters that really should be in being left out.

No Dead Rising yet, no Valkyrie Knights yet, no Viewtiful Joe, Amaterasu, Bayonetta, Pulseman, not even the MAIN CHARACTERS FROM THE FIRST GAME, ESSIENTALLY MAKING THIS NAMCO X CAPCOM 2 FEAT. SEGA AND SOME NINTENDO

And hell, make the mascots of the four companies at the very least Solos. Mario, Sonic, and Pac-Man can exist in a world where Segata Sanshiro, Klonoa, etc. can.

At the very least we should get Bowser enemy unit and Wesker.

I don't know, I'm worried for this game. It doesn't seem as interesting or compelling as the first.
 
We have wesker in every single fucking thing capcom makes (Hell, they have LASERS for wesker to go back in time and deal with global saturation in the RE Zero Remaster). Give some space for old legends to exist.

After all, Mega Man is Capcom's true mascot, and X/Zero is a main unit there.

if the image of a character being stabbed through the face by Nemisis is so absurd you'd expect it from an edgy Internet parody animation before anything official,
they probably aren't gonna be in the game.

Yeah, i know... It was Mega Man sales' money that funded street fighter 2 n'all but... *sigh*

I was gonna make a whitty comment on how bad that game was, but I only know of the home console ports and figure the Arcade one was probably better.

regardless of quality, Ryu technically did come first.

also, from what I heard, the arcade was better, but prone to breakage because of the pressure mechanics of the buttons.
 
Segata Sanshiro's throw isn't correct this game is trash and worthless
don't support it even if Segata and Sakura are reunited
it is a false reunion tainted by only a single explosion
 
maybe Segata just wants them young kids to have fun now that his duty to promote the Sega Saturn is over?
so he's not really trying as hard.

what a nice guy Segata is.
