PS3 PSN Matchmaking Thread

Usually ping lies , I'm stable with high pings and low via wireless but ey thats me

I play wired on PC too

50ms on PS3 feels like 150-200ms on PC do
150ms on PS3 is pretty much unplayable, while 150 on PC is rather fine.

Setting frame delay high makes the game lag, so that doesn't really help?? What kinda advice is this even~

Edit: Oh, my bad. Didn't realize that last line wasn't replying to me.

Edit 2: *shrug* Well, you gotta trade some things for other things, I guess. I can't afford to replace my decade-old laptop, so I'll stick with the PS3 that my family bought. I never really felt like the lag was that bad (or even noticeable much of the time), though, but I've also never played FGs online on a PC. I hear there are similar issues with FPSs and the like. :p

It's just so annoying to just continuously lose against pros.

My PSN is to the left. If someone has a room open whenever, they can let me know I guess. I'm still fairly new, so it wouldn't be a surprise if I seem all sucky and not knowing what to do.

I'm available weekdays at around 7pm est and all day on the weekends. I know how to play the game but I'm not very good at it :P my PSN is CheisGuy

Is it just me, or am I the only one experiencing infrequent errors trying to join Quick matches or host in some cases even with really good connection...

Anyways, I need someone who will teach me to stop being a reversal punching bag online with Squigly. Add me plz so we can spar and I can hopefully git gud.
 
I do host ps3 skullbats every friday 7pmest. If you have the time you can join that. Just let me know and I can send you the ps3 chat we use or you can go to the irc but I'd much rather all participants to be in one spot and most of them don't have computers.

Yea, Its especially annoying because you have to wait for the whole timer to count down before it says "failed to connect" :/

I'll occasionally have time for that. My work schedule's never really constant, but I'll try to make it to as many as I can.
 
After two long weeks, back to the PS3 this weekend. First time playing since the patch changes.
W. coast intermediate. Help me decide who my 3rd best is if you want (Peacock or Fortune).

Someone invited me to a match but I got knocked out of the game and I did not se who it was, if the person who invited me sees this, sorry and could you reinvite me.
