PSN Official Skullbats Thread

Unfortunately, we had the bare minimum entrants this week, making this tourney only 3 rounds.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd are taken by Adeveis, Shaky, and Ninjagoon, respectively.
Let's try to make the numbers larger next week!

Woooo! This week we had 10 people, including 4 players we rarely get to see. As for this week, it's a 3-way tie for first between 2z, Adeveis, and myself.

Re-opening our Discord server has helped us reach out to a handful more people, and hopefully we continue to grow from here on out.

We had a super healthy 14 people this week! Unfortunately, 2 participants had to drop out halfway through. Things happen, right?
Anyways... I wanna say Shaky takes first place, but that also means I have to say there is a 5-way tie for 3rd. With that said, Shaky takes 1st, I take 2nd, and 3rd place belongs to Adeveis, Ninjagoon, OneGunClip, GreedyChun, and KingGoku. Take from the Challonge bracket what you will.
Let's make next week big too!

Why don't you use Challonge's tiebreakers for players with the same record?

Thanks. Yeah it's a thing. You can see it on the challonge page, it has Adeveis with the best tiebreakers of the 3-2s. There's a few things it goes off. First off it rewards byes lower than true wins. The second tiebreaker is wins against other players with the same record. So, Adeveis beat Onegunclip and Ninjagoon, so he beat 2 players with the same record, that's why he has the best record. After that it goes off Buchholz which is some sort of formula idk. And finally it goes off your wins minus your losses, so it rewards you for winning 3-0 and for making it close in your losses.

Last Saturday we had the bare minimum entrants of 6 (to be expected, since the newest beta patch only just came out by then). With that said: First place goes to me, second place goes to GreedyChun, and third belongs to Megamac.

This week, we also had only 6 entrants, work held up more people than expected. Without further ado: In 1st place is myself, in 2nd place KingGoku, and in 3rd is Megamac. We do plan on streaming these matches once lobbies drop, but for now, we'll make do with what we have. Thanks for coming out guys!

We once again only had 6 entrants, but this week, one of our newer members informed us that they couldn't find this thread even after looking for it. I guess we'll think of something.
Anyways, Adeveis shook the world over and took first place with his solo-Band, in second was myself, while tied for third was BigEffinDud and Ninja.

We had a whole 16 people this week, but unfortunately, 2 players has to drop out halfway.
But it's all good!
This week in first place was KnickerBockerNY, congrats! In second place was Adeveis, while claiming third is myself.

We went ahead and uploaded some of the matches from Skullbats from last week and this week (unfortunately, only the ones me and Adeveis were in, due to our situation). Once lobbies drop, we'll start getting more matches from the other players.

We'll most likely take a break from Skullbats this upcoming weekend in favor of competing/watching CEOtaku. But it's really up to the remaining members if they still want to hold it that Saturday.

Minimum entrants this week, so we only had 3 rounds to play. As for the scores: Shaky takes 1st place, thewingit1234 takes 2nd place while I take 3rd.

Sub note: Good stuff from wingit this week! Netting 2 wins over Shaky and a clean 3-0 victory over OneGunClip is not something to be scoffed at. Hope to see further improvement from you!

^These are the unposted weeks of Skullbats that I've skipped out on, things have been awkward on my end. My bad!

We have a channel! Many of our members are collectively recording and uploading their individual matches until consoles get the lobbies patch. At which point, we'll be able to stream and/or record a lot more of our matches.
