Since GTA V has it's own thread, I thought I might as well make a thread for it's sister series, the crazy as Hell and hilarious Saints Row. Saints Row IV came out two months ago and had your character be the President of the United States fighting Aliens in a Computer Simulation. Sound weird? Because it is. Funnily enough, your character has a set of seven voices to choose from, three male, three female, and Nolan North! I myself haven't gotten Saints Row IV yet, but I have played Saints Row the Third and I enjoyed it greatly, at least.

So yeah, talk about Saints Row here, be it the current game, or the prequels.

I only played part 2 and haven't 100% completed yet. This is when the series found its own identity as a sillier GTA clone, but still kept the gang stuff. I still play it from time to time.

How do part 3 and 4 compare to this?

Part 3 is balls to the wall silly with a few sex jokes that are pretty immature, and Part 4 has much smarter writing while still being parody centric and insane.

I haven't really gotten Saints Row 4 yet.
And I have yet to play Saints Row 2.

Saints ROw 4 is pretty different though, with the addition of super powers.
You can run, glide, throw hadoukens, and in general just fuck shit up.
It's basically like a bastard child of Prototype, Infamous, and GTA.

SR4 is more like Infamous than GTA. It's not even a GTA clone anymore.
