[Sep 30, 2016] CEOtaku 2016: this is actually out of control omg (Orlando, FL)

This is looking a little more grim for me but I'm still trying. Moving situation did not end up as expected. I won't be entering SG, but I'll be around to hang out with you a lot :)
 
Question 1: I am from PA. where do i report in regards to which airport to land in?

Question 2: I assume i would have to find my own way there? I do not care too if i have to but would like to know my options.

I am interested in a few players to play. This is why i am asking.
 
Orlando International Airport is your best choice almost uniterally. The Sanford airport is technically "local" but you'll be like an hour across town. OIA has buses and shuttles that go back and forth to International Drive, the local equivalent of the Las Vegas Strip, where the venue is (there's info about this in the OP). You can also split an Uber or ask any local Florida players for a ride.

I'm expecting to already have a full car. My condolences.

Registration for this tournament will open up on August 1st.

Also, just about 2 and a half months until Chilling with Skullgirls fam, Popeyes and Wawas guys. Hype slowly intensifying!

Just got back so I finally put CEOtaku up on the list on the forum index. Is SG going to be main stage for this?

Just finished registering and I already booked my flight and room earlier so I'm now 100% in there!!! Just 2 months to go!

Oh wow. Thanks for this. I was actually so looking forward to chilling and eating Wawas and Popeyes that I forgot that I need to get a new swimming suit for this. Almost crashed and burned all over the launch pad without ever taking off, lol.

I got my time off and I have a question.

Which one is better delta or united? I hear they're both bad but they have the right times for me.

Also is American okay? I'm not really hip on flights.

edit: ps3 sticks should be fine on ps4

Typically PS3 sticks have been allowed for tournaments run on PS4. It's a valid question since SFV tournaments have a rule about this, but SFV did some different things with the implementation of legacy devices that causes problems. SG is like, you plug in your PS3 stick and the game is like "oh this is a stick" and you play and there's no problems.

Are gofundme pages looked down upon in Major threads? (reason I am asking is to not to step on anyone's toes, and or annoy people. Also this is for CEOtaku)

Depends what it's for? There was a GoFundMe for the salty suite at Combo Breaker, I don't think anyone had any problem with that. If it's a GoFundMe to send someone to CEOtaku, well, I guess it would depend who was getting sent.

Okay. I was half joking about it the other day about a gofundme page for me to attend CEOtaku, but not just to compete, but also to cover CEOtaku for SGTV, on top of creating a video piece showcasing the best of the Skullgirls community (in a documentary way). Some people took some interest in what I said, so I figure why not. So that's why I ask. I didn't want to come here and promote my gofundme page for the sake of "Help I need money to go this event to compete!" and put the onus on people here to help with that. (even though this is kinda that, but I would do more then just compete since I do work in video)
