SG runs at 1 FPS in Manjaro Linux

I've tested SG in five different operative systems. In order or performance: W10, W7, Ubuntu 16.04, Linux Mint 17.3 and Manjaro Cinnamon 16.02. The last one is the worst of all -1 FPS. The curious thing here is, it only happens during a match, not in the menu screen, and this is my only game in Steam that has that performance -even Super Meat Boy goes better than in Ubuntu. I've tried both Steam libraries and native libraries, and I've selected the 'purge' option from the menu. I'm using kernel 4.4 LTS -the same I used in Ubuntu. I've also selected windowed and full screen modes, tried both 3D and 2D backgrounds, changed resolution at different sizes... Don't know what else to do.

Try running it from a terminal and see if it spits out any meaningful error/warning/debug messages.

Both games show some problems in terminal, but Super Meat Boy runs flawlessly It's not a Cinnamon issue, either -I've tested it in Xfce and the problem persists
