at least most of the battles aren't left up to chance and you can actually choose what your characters do in a fight, especially when they are attacked. unlike FF Tactics.
 
How to make anything better: Add Social Links
I'm way more interestedin DS now that I know those are there.
 
they should make a game with social links
where the final boss gets stronger the more social links that you complete
but if you decide to be an anti-social dweeb
the final boss just laughs at you for having no friends
and the game ends right there

I'm...also kinda growing on demon negotiations after Nocturne, but maybe that's because it's so easy to cheese them by using Brainwash at the endgame.
 
Soul Hackers has the easiest negotiations. You'd be hard-pressed to find something that didn't join you by the end of the conversation, and if you had too many demons at the time? They'd just come back later when you've got room.
 
One thing I don't care for about the DS games at first glance is the art style. The characters all look really pale and sickly. Not to mention the infamous ANTI-GRAV BOOBS.
 
DS's art is so off-putting for which is strange since the art for Durarara! is so inoffensive
it's like he art evolved backwards
 
tbh, I like it.
the most negative thing I can say about it is that the characters look like side characters with a special accessory.
also, the MC in DS2 looks like the new MC for P5.

By the way Izaya, Shizuo and Celty will appaer in Break Record, it's official.
 
Beat Nocturne and got the True Demon Ending before college started again. Fantastic game, will probably replay it again eventually. Easily my favorite game in the MegaTen series.
 
I'm playing SMT III and Persona 4 right now. I'm close to finishing both and just end up playing fighting games instead
