Silent Shot whiffs against Gregor Samson

This must have been a thing since the beginning of time but it's still bullshit so here we go

Filias hurtbox during gregor is so miniscule and low in relation to her vertical position (Even in the air) that silent shot will always whiff against it (Even when that looks completely implausible)

Sniper also whiffs if you DHC into it after doing Dynamo.

No idea if that one is a bug or not.

Surely it can't be intended that Filia possesses complete immunity to silent shot and still gets to be at frame advantage if gregor whiffs

If she wants to dodge this so badly, she should at least have to make use of invincibility frames
 
this reminds me actually that i had fortune level 3 whiff point blank against filias st.HK once.

ill have to try that in training mode. i was pretty pissed when it happened.
 
Well shit. Each time I dodged Sniper with Gregor, I thought that I was timing the invincibility frames well. Guess I'm a fraud now.
 
It turns out Filia is also impervious to Parasouls level 3 on the ground, since she can just dodge it and beat it with gregor on reaction to the super flash (Anyone with filia on their team can probably dhc into it as well)

Any word on this sniper business? It makes sense that gregor can low-profile stuff on the ground (As Filia does with a lot of other things), but surely not in the air.
 
I figured the ability to dodge the level 3 with gregor wasn't a bug. Just seems normal to be able to do. I mean Double can car through it, Big band can ssj after taunt, and Cerebella can reflect it. Look on the bright side. Peacock has to eat it. As a Parasoul player I accept this.

Big Band with taunt actually can't beat Parasouls level 3 any more since the armor reduction a bit before his release, unless she deliberately cancels it

The low profile of ground Gregor is pretty intentional; it's the way she was supposed to be able to punish Argus after blocking the beam portion (this actually doesn't work out well in practice because Gregor's not low enough to avoid certain random spreads of Argus).

Anyway, "spend a bar to punish the opponent spending 3 during neutral" is not at all equivalent to "impervious." Stop using unsafe supers randomly. Bella, Squigly, Val, Double, Parasoul, Fukua, and probably everybody else could beat either of those supers too if you just mashed them out on somebody.
 
Wow I haven't been in non-Annie-Game threads in this forum on a while and now I remember why I stopped.

Zeknife is asking a question ("Is this also intentional?"), not demanding a change ("Please change this"). And yes impervious is the correct term here because during Gregor, Filia is unaffected by Parasoul's level 3.

SO ANYWAY when Filia gets messed with because a lot of her frames are at the wrong height, the air thing should be fixed.
While I'm at it, is it intended that gregor crosses up so easily when you try to block it in the air? It seems to happen because crossing up triggers the final hit, which has a much larger hitbox than the rest of it
I don't think that's related, but I sure am curious.

Edit: Something can be a feature even if it isn't originally intended, of course.

man that cross up thing with gregor stinks. they do a shitty raw gregor, i block, it crosses up last hit, filia gets a full combo afterwards.
