That's a really good edit! The only thing is that Squigly is sitting in the spot Filia would typically be occupying, so I don't know if I can use it. Do you think you can make an edit with Filia and Riccardo in the pic, and Squigly perhaps sitting on the far right?
nice job
ok. what chair exactly?
Alright, finished proofreading the script yesterday. Have a couple notes I wanted to share publicly.
@LockjawsSaga
I still think it'd be a good idea to have Squigly get some nasty looks in Madman's Cafe. Doesn't have to be a lot, noting that no one wants to sit near her would be enough, but having nothing there seems striking—it's quiet, yes, but she's still out in public.
Also, thanks for making my life significantly easier by paying close attention to your spelling and punctuation.

Also, for anyone who hasn't heard yet, Squigly's path is going to have a tiny bit of voice acting, courtesy of topazius and @FunkyHellboy. Be on the listen for their voices hopefully in the next update!
I think this will go on until Squigly is on top of the ceiling.LIKE. THIS?! View attachment 6711

Godspeed Lockjaws, make Squigly best girl.
I guess I'll pitch a couple ideas that spontaneously entered my mind.
Lumen
Aesthetically: A small, skinny little thing, Lumen would be easy to conceal, save for the fact that she constantly emits a dim light (One that can be brightened at will). She's used to a fine life, and will drive her hosts mad or simply leave them if they can't provide for her—but she's not so bad...so long as you keep her content, she'll help you with your little peasant problems.
Mechanically: A high-maintenance creature, but one with a fairly nice reward: glorify Lumen, and she'll help glorify [player character]—which is to say, she'll help you court your friends. Ideally, she could unlock/alter dialogue options and other suck things. Her light emission might come into play, too, but I haven't seen such a scenario where it would.
Aegis
Aesthetically: Being a somewhat large creature, Aegis is hard to hide, though he doesn't move much, so if he takes the right form you might try to convince them that he's some fort of article. He doesn't talk too much, either—the way he sees it, he's dependent on you, so the least he can do is keep his big trap shut and help keep his source of nutrients alive.
Mechanically: Unsightly and hard to hide, but in situations where [player character]'s life is in danger, Aegis will be a huge help in defending them.
There's a RPG frame for Renpy, so we could do that...
i was thinkng like her eye slightly open blushing
I think she's like.
